Superb hotel - spotlessly clean, cosy and comfortable with lovely and attentive staff. The food served by the hotel's chefs was absolutely superb. Best seafood I've eaten in Scotland for years. Would give the Ardshiel 10 stars if I could!

Stayed at the Ardshiel Hotel and attended my friend's birthday celebration there. All staff were friendly, welcoming and very attentive. The quality of the food was amazing and the 5 courses surpassed all expectations in terms of the use of fresh local produce; it was beautifully presented and delicious. The room decorated for the birthday meal looked stunning. I have... More

I celebrated my birthday with friends and family at the Ardshiel Hotel in Campbeltown. Flora, Marion and Staff could not do enough to help arrange this weekend and their attention to detail was flawless. From the Friday Night Drinks and Canapes to an Exquisite 5 course meal on the Saturday night with a Piper to take us into Dinner. OUTSTANDING!!... More

I was recently lucky enough to stay here while working in Campbeltown, and was impressed from the first moment I set foot in the hotel. From the attractive traditional decor to the superbly appointed whisky bar, this hotel is a pleasure to be in; and this was before I had even seen my room. This was on the top floor,... More

Had a prolonged visit here, while visiting family. The staff are warm and friendly. The food excellent and the whisky bar second to none . My room up at the top of the building was excellent for working off the very generous breakfast.

My golfing partner and I stayed for two days at the Ardshiel in September in order to enjoy the great courses in the area. The location is quiet yet convenient to the centre of Campbeltown and the harbour. Both breakfast and dinner were very good, and the twin room was spacious, well-furnished, and quiet. Beds were very comfortable. The classy... More

I stayed at the Ardshiel for two nights on business and I must say I am pleasantly surprised! I think some recent renovation work has taken place and the rooms are now very tastefully decorated and very welcoming. I stayed in a large room on the top floor with a huge king sized bed and very high quality bedding! The... More

2nd time staying here for a golfing trip. We stayed in the Seafield Annexe which is 2 doors down from the Ardshiel but you have breakfast and dinner in the Ardshiel. Rooms are fine and modern and comfy beds. The breakfast is very tasty and we ate both nights in the hotel and the food continues to be excellent. The... More
