Unique town house with original beams showing, mosaic style table in the kitchen, stone flagging floors, stained glass window and original wooden staircase our house is beaming with character. Full cooked breakfast is provided freshly sourced from our local butchers as well as local bread, preserves and honey and a selection of cereals, fruits, juices, tea and coffee. As well as your room coming with its own en suite shower room and Egyptian cotton bedding and towels you'll have full access to "the snug" which comes equipped with a small library, full HD TV with Netflix and Sky Q containing the full sports, cinema and boxed sets packages as well as a selection of board games for those rainy or tired days where you just want to stay in and relax. You're also welcome to make full use of the garden with a seating area just where the sun drops in and of course if any of our trees are bearing fruit please help yourself.

What a great B&B, stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and walking distance to town and the beach. The room was really comfortable, comfy bed, nice fresh linen and good wifi signal. The bathroom was a good size with an excellent power shower and really lovely shampoo and shower gel. The hosts attention to detail and thoughtful, quality touches really elevates this place. Not your average B&B instant coffee and 3 pack biscuits but a fabulous range of premium teas, ground coffee bags, delicious scones and biscuits from a local bakery and fresh fruit. The hosts even provided ear plugs, being so close to the sea and harbour, the seagulls can be quite noisy. The Scottish breakfast was amazing, absolutely delicious, plenty of it plus sourcing produce from other local businesses was highlighted and nice to see. Bamse B&B is properly dog friendly, not just "dog tolerant" with our dog being given his own bed plus a doggy placemat and bowls. Thank you so much for taking the time to not only notice and appreciate all the little touches we’ve placed throughout our B&B. We pride ourselves on local and fresh produce which can be challenging during current times but we genuinely believe it’s the only way to go. And your absolutely right we really are dog friendly having an American bulldog of our own who absolutely loves to travel with us we very much appreciate when he’s made to feel welcome. I would highly recommend this place. Great location and they take the COVID-19 seriously. Everything is cleaned between guests including the breakfast room, only one room allowed at a set time. Top notch to them.

We visited for a weekend. The room was really clean, with modern facilities and full of delicious snacks. The breakfast each morning was superb with home cooked local produce. All in all we experienced great hospitality in lovely surroundings! I would recommend it to anyone for a few nights away.

Had a lovely night’s stay at Bamse B&B. Despite the ongoing situation, extra effort went into to making sure health and safety measures were adhered to. Rooms were comfy, clean and well decorated. We also had breakfast which was absolutely lovely - I would buy the homemade jam if I could!

my daughter and i stayed 3 nights in this lovely B&B. Our room was clean and looked over the garden, our host Euan was lovely and welcoming. Even with the Covid restrictions we felt well looked after. The snacks in the room were amazing, toiletries provided, breakfast was perfect and a seat in the garden listening to the bees buzzing and a friendly cat coming to sit with you was all the unwinding we needed. The guest house is close to the high street where there is a good mix of shops and also central for the gardens/playpark and not too far from the beach. Thank you Euan for giving us the break we needed.
