I find this quite difficult as I eat regularly here and enjoy the food and service. A few weeks ago I asked for the fajitas to be served as vegetarian, no problem there, what I got though was vegetables that looked boiled instead of roasted great big chunks of boiled round carrots never had carrots in fajitas before, all in...

Visited here today. I had hiked over the Sidlaw hills from Newtyle. After a good 12 mile hike I was ready for a few cold beer 🍺 and a bite to eat before catch bus to Forfar then homeward from there. What I got was a very cold service from the would be hostess/waitress. I was told by her most...

Table of twelve - booked for 5.30pm. Some arrived very early but the table was ready, some arrived late due to very busy traffic on the Forth Road Bridge! Nothing phased the staff who were all very friendly. Busy restaurant from early evening. Good menu choice, very good food, large portions, reasonably priced - well done. Would definitely book again...

Eaten here in the past and the food had always been good, until tonight. Nachos starter looked liked it had just been microwaved for far too long. No improvement with the main course either. Lasagne was burnt on top and all u could taste was oregano. Chicken fajitas was the worst of all. An already dried up piece of chicken...

Great atmosphere, good, tasty food, great service, friendly staff. Would not hesitate to use again but not cheap. Not a huge menu choice but we enjoyed everything we ordered (party of 4) and all those around us looked pleased with their meals too.

There are not many places in this area open for an evening meal in the middle of the week. So we headed here in the hope a table was available. We weren't disappointed and the quality of the cooking was beyond our expectations. Everything was freshly cooked and had a home baked quality to it. This place is about the...

Food is always tasty, warm and filling. Traditional country restaurant. Steaks come out sizzling. Staff are nice and service is good. Always have a nice meal here. Portions are good. Not much else in the area but would be good for after visiting glamis castle or if you are a local.
