The Townhouse(correct spelling) Hotel is like the Tardis. Looks pretty small outside but the property goes a long way back from the High Street and actually has 11 bedrooms, a very large bar/restaurant area and an impressive homely aura inside. We were told that it was a furniture shop in a previous incarnation and certainly has the impressive size to...

We recently had lunch with friends at The Town House. The food and service was excellent. The menu had a varied selection of meals to suit all tastes. Reduced size portions are also available. Their speciality cheesecake is out of this world. We are looking forward to a return visit very soon.

The staff were excellent couldn't do enough for me. The food was ok for the price. Only complaint is I was given a room supplied with earplugs! The room was above the kitchen and the fan made the most horrendous noise. I asked if they could move me but they said they were full, the fan stopped at 21.00 So...

The lady who served us breakfast was extremely pleasant - sorry we didn't get your name. The staff in the evening were all very pleasant and attentive. Shame we weren't staying for another...

We stayed here for a one night stay. The staff are fantastic and food is very good. The only complaint is that the room was not the cleanest. The area around the bath was dirty and was wiped clean by ourselves. Generally the rooms need a deep clean.

The outside appearance is deceptive. It might look like a converted ex-Woolworths store from the outside but it is a homely an comfortable hotel on the inside. Ok, my tv didn't work but everything else about the room was fine. It is not a particularly big hotel, about 9 or 10 rooms I would guess, which gives it a more...

My girlfriend and I stayed here as we were in town for a wedding reception. We were on the 2nd floor, which is high enough that you couldn't hear any noise from the bar and restaurant. We did find the room a little warm but otherwise no complaints, it was clean and comfortable, the shower cubicle is spacious, and you...
