Having read a few of the less enthusiastic reviews of this hotel I'm sorry to say that the authors must have a skewed view on life. The fun and quirky theme of this place is apparent from the minute you enter, thanks to the decor. Every member of staff I met during my 3 day stay was as polite and...

On arrival it was very confusing as to where the entrance for the hotel was. Turned out to be the entrance for the bar/restaurant which you had to walk through to gain access to the stairs/ rooms. It is not wheelchair or pram friendly. When cheeking in we where made to squeeze in behind the bar fount door. I'm so...

Booked a room last minute as I needed to be near the station. As I've used the restaurant and bar several times and loved it I assumed the rooms would be ok. After a speedy check in with a lovely member of staff I was directed to my room. As soon as I walked in I was hit with a...

This hotel is a two minute walk from the bus station and union square and only a five minute walk away from union street so is in a central location which is what we wanted. the staff were very accommodating and friendly and our room was modern and clean. So, it had everything I would look for in a hotel....

My boyfriend and I booked this hotel last minute through 5pm which was an offer for an overnight with a 3 course dinner and breakfast. We weren't sure how the hotel would be as the offer seemed pretty cheap. However right from the start our low expectations were so wrong. The hotel let us check in 2 hours early and...

Charming and cosy hotel, it's old but there is a lot of charm in the rooms and the bar/restaurant in the hotel. Really good service, really sweet service minded workers and cute bartenders. Breakfast ok, no phone in the room and noisy air ventilation in the bathroom. Really small shower. But charm and service counts a lot on this hotel...

This hotel is very tired, the rooms are cold, no central heating just a plug in electric heater provided. No double glazing, you are on a main road, opposite local bars and the noise levels are very high. Shower doors were broken, no lock on the bathroom door, toilet seat was broken. I won't be staying here again
