Nothing wrong with the room just a very light weight quilt made it chilly in the night. Staff very helpful, no noise from the aircraft that passed over at low level due to its location quite close to the airport. Car parking on site

In this Covid age, on initial entry to a hotel room my wife cleans all surfaces with antiseptic wipes. Not a speck of dust or dirt did she find. Well done to the Travelodge Bucksburn cleaners. You hope you know what you are going to get in a Travelodge and this one did not disappoint in any way. Just a shame that the nearby restaurant is permanently closed.

Early check in, no one at reception, had to phone then wait about 15mins until someone came to check me in. The member of staff was friendly and cheerful when she did arrive. The room furniture had quite a few scratches/bumps so could be doing with being replaced. The bathroom handles/taps/bath plug hole/shower curtain rail and door really needed better cleaning. Also noticed hall in doorway was peeling therefore needed repainted. I set smoke alarm off in room having a bath/shower and when female staff member came to door she abruptly entered room to open windows stating “you’ll have to leave these open for 10/15mins” No smile on her face, no cheery manner, she was really quite rude. I will say when I asked chambermaid for milk & towels she was very helpful and friendly. I paid about £170 for 2 nights stay by the time you add on early/late checkout, parking and wifi therefore I feel you could do better.

Stayed for 3 nights in room 30.

Known as a budget hotel chain for those on the road, I'm not expecting luxury. The room and bathroom are clean and functional. There's the usual amenities such as tea, coffee, TV in the room, plus two chairs and a long table to work on. The bathroom had both a bathtub and shower, and liquid soap dispensers. The bathroom did have a permanent smell of sewer though. Closing the door solved that problem, but it's noticeable when you enter the room for the first time or come back after a day out.

The bed had a soft/medium mattress, which is much softer than I prefer, but comfortable and didn't prevent me from getting a good night's sleep. The windows where two layers of double glazed window, so expect noise if you have good hearing, be although I slept fine

The most annoying thing was the parking. It's not free for guests. Charging for parking in a location well out of the city and pretty much in the middle of nowhere is a thumbs down for me.

Overall, it was a comfortable stay, but the parking charge and odour are off-putting.

We went here end of August. My wife and I brought our yorkie with us. The staff called us on our way up and asked our preferences which was nice and they where helpful on arrival. However I didn't get the vibrational pillow I'd requested in case of emergancy. Thankfully no alarm went off during our stay. Ilthe room smelled nice and was just a nice temperature but I do need to say the room was far too small. It was a wheelchair room as I'm in wheelchair but the turning space in both the room and bathroom was so small I often crashed. Thank goodness it was only a couple of nights as there was no wet room to wash myself, I had to wash in a very small, low toilet seat. I'd phoned before booking the hotel and asked if it was dog friendly and if it had wet room. The receptionist didn't know what a wet room was at 1st until I'd explained it and he said it had wet room in disabled room. When we arrived it wasn't a wet room. My wife went and asked if there was any wet rooms as we requested this but he again didn't know what wet room was. My wife explained its a room that can get wet as the full floor is basically the shower floor and there is no step in to it. It usually has a shower seat mounted or free standing with drop rails. He said they don't have it, only baths. Had I had known this I wouldn't have stayed here. I chose here cos they told on phone prebooking it had wet room. I was only able to reach as far as the table edge near the door and toilet. I couldn't use the table or see mirror or close blinds. Luckily my wife did that as room was so small. There was also a small space to reverse next to my bed (not big enough for wheelchair) I could only go in and out one way from bedside as toilet wall was close to it and couldn't get access the the other side it was cramped with the dog and my chair and wife. The bathroom mirror was so high I struggled in my chair to change stoma bag. Mcdonalds is close by but you must cross some roads. We went to use a vending machine and it didn't work and nearest shop is a bit away. Bed was low so wife had to help me on to wheelchair for toilet at night.

Booked an accessible room due to my disability. Great wee room just past the reception area. Room was bright and airy, clean and tidy. Bed, was a bit awkward as it was 2 singles matched together to form double, so you had to ensure you didn't sleep over the join. The room benefited from double, double glazing ( 2 sets of double glazed windows, to keep the noise out). Still heard the occasional aircraft, but TBH it didn't bother you, there was more noise from toilets flushing at night, than from aircraft. I also liked the heated bathroom mirror so that it didn't steam up when you had a shower. (Nice touch, usually only found in the higher end hotels). The hotel is well situated near various places to eat from the MacDonald's just a minutes walk away to restaurants a few minutes drive away. There is also a local shop which you can get to from the back of the carpark that sells breakfast rolls 7 day's per week. Staff were very friendly and couldn't do enough for you. As a blue badge holder. car parking was free, but you have to show your blue badge at reception as they take the number and your registration number in order to register you for the free car parking. Otherwise it is £3 for 24hrs. If you do have a blue badge, there are 3 designated car parking bays at the front, but I moved my car away when I discovered that the smokers were leaning against the car to have a cigarette. All in all, nice wee place if all you are looking for is somewhere to lay your head whilst travelling.

All is perfect about the room Travelodge rented me for one week in Aberdeen. The bathtub was excellent after a hard day walking on a seashore and climbing on rocks. It needed only three minutes to have a full bathtub of hot water. Perfect for ached muscles. The room was double and really big with a huge bed. The big plus of the room was also a Samsung telly with plenty of channels, good for the few days when it was raining and stormy on the sea. All receptionists were very cultural and helpful with information like available busses or bus stops and provided all information about staying in the hotel. And one more perfect thing about Travelodge is that I can pay for a room by PayPall I just need to move my money to the PayPall account, and no need to worry about a card purchase limit. What is perfect and for sure it with the rest is make me keep with Travelodge hotels.

We were going to the P&J Live to see Strictly Live so wanted somewhere close to stay the night. This Travelodge is only 10 minutes walk away from the P&J so was ideal.
The room was clean and modern with a good size TV. There was the usual Tea/Coffee making stuff, but no fridge. The bed was soft and the pillows just right. They only gave us one towel, but we took another one from the housekeeping cart that was left in the corridor.
The location was excellent, with a supermarket, Pub/restaurant and chippie within close proximity. Although it is right next to a very busy road, our room was on the quiet side of the hotel so we had a very quiet nights sleep.
All in all this was a very pleasant stay and if you intend going to the P&J Live, I would highly recommend staying at this hotel.

Parking has to be paid for on arrival which could easily be incorporated in the room rate, wi-fi was prepaid and booked but was not available when booking in, the time to get a refund is hardly worth the effort for the £3 charge but I would not recommend to anyone to buy this. Breakfast was what was expected in a box and reasonable value for money but does not come with any cutlery and I ended up eating cornflakes with a teaspoon which felt ridiculous. The staff were not good or bad, they just did not seem to care one way or another.

It came as a surprise to us that we had to pay £3 for 24 hour parking - despite the fact that there was very little else nearby which would encourage to park there. It represents an additional hidden £3 charge that I needed to add on to my booking when making comparisons with other possibilities.
Despite the fact that the hotel knew that there were two of us occupying the room, only towels for one person were provided. Others were provided but we had to go and ask for them. Simply more inconvenience.
Nearby facilities are poor unless you want to go to a Macdonalds or Lidl Supermarket!!
The hotel was clean and we had a good night's sleep. The reception was staffed both in the evening on arrival and early morning when we departed.

There is not a restaurant or bar in the actual hotel itself but there is a good quality pub a very short walk away.
