Had a really nice lunch outside recently. The outdoor play area is perfect for my 7 year olds to entertain themselves while waiting for food to arrive. Really delicious main meal of stir fry and noodles. Had to ask 3 times for the kids ice creams though. Lovely decor inside, I always comment on the nice carpet and toilets :)

We had a lovely birthday dinner for my husband. There were 7 of us dining. We couldn't fault the service from when we entered the Ferryhill. We dined in the Sun house, a big bright conservatory. Our food arrived piping hot and all at the same time, the haddock was delicious. Please try the Lemon Meringue pie, it's yummy.

I've been to Ferryhill a number of times. Always with family ranging from kids to adults. It's a great venue for some food whether it's in the restaurant or in the bar. The staff are excellent and the food is always great. Looking forward to coming back.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome, room was amazing, best nights sleep we've had all week, cosy bed with comfy quilt and pillows that hugged you, great selection of tea, coffee and biscuits. The only thing I would say is there was only one large towel and no jug to fill the kettle that wouldn't...

This place was lovely. We booked s table for lunch for 8 on Sunday before travelling back to Glasgow and loved it. Service was great and the food was delicious with a great selection of food in the area. Nice beer garden to enjoy some wine and fine dinning in the summer.

This place is lovely for food- recently booked lunch for 4 and loved it. Great service, the fish was delicious and we enjoyed very much the sun room experience- very bright and timeless interior- loved our lunch experience. Some of the food was slightly late snd the waitress didn't come up with the best explanation but overall we really enjoyed...

Very friendly staff, great hotel, great food. This is my second stay, will be back. The rooms are very modern, very comfortable bed, free wifi. Great selection of food available at the bar or restaurant. The food is very nice, the restaurant is therefore popular with the locals, I'd recommend booming a table in advance.

Myself and my partner and 4 other good friends went for dinner expecting great things from the new menu, don't get me wrong there was plenty of choice and it was difficult to decide. I had the prawn cocktail to begin which was ok but the Marie rose sauce was a little wattery which wasn't particularly nice, my steak was...

Recently went for a family lunch, good food with prompt service. Dealt well with supplying small portions for an elderly relative and coping with specific requirements of another who didn't like pesto in their sandwich. Tasty steak pie and chicken for others, chips weren't very good though.

Whilst sitting in the beer garden this evening with our small well behaved dog on a lead, we were asked to leave as apparently they do not allow dogs within their grounds. As my husband had just brought the drinks, I asked if we could move over to another grass area( no other customers ) were in that area. They...
