Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

stayed too many times as no where else available, the place stinks, is always in a state of cow boy builders renovation, been put up in the "sheds" (chalets) at the back DO NOT LEAVE YOUR STUFF ON THE FLOOR AT NIGHT when you get up in the morning all your stuff will be covered in SNAIL OR SLUG TRAILS !!! PLACE IS DISGUSTING , the HSE should close it down TILL IT IS UP TO A PROPER STANDARD gives other nice places around Aberdeen a bad name , some of the staff are very friendly & helpful and i guess you can only work with what you are employed to work with , name has been changed now to "dee hotel " still crap not recommended at all unless desperate !!! :( :( :( :( :( :( :( :(

I've stayed here many times because I'm an offshore worker and need cheap digs for 1 night a month. This is ok for what i need. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES TAKE YOUR MRS OR FAMILY THERE. Unless they enjoy having no luxuries such as nice decor, clean surroundings and toilet paper (yes when I stayed once there was no toilet paper in the whole place).

Worst Hotel in Aberdeen, don't stay unless you've got chronic depression and are in need of a good laugh cause this place is a joke, guest house paradiso ain't got a patch on this!! Had a sore back for a week now because was forced to sleep on "bed" that wouldn't be out of place in a Viet cong POW camp, room either roasting hot or how I would imagine an expedition of the Antarctic would leave you feeling!!

I visited this place last year on a business trip, it certainly wasnt my first choice but with it being aberdeen you will be very lucky to get some spare rooms somewhere in September. Its a typical B & B but with the one added bonus that doors are always open, you have access to the lounge, its very central to the station with some good restraunts like Jewel In The Crown indian just a couple of minutes away. The room i wanted was an en suite room, for one person, room was big, and it really isnt bad as others have wrote. All i can say is to make your own mind up when you visit but personally i agree with @sparkyfisher for his review.
