Booked online, 5 months in advance, got email confirmation. When we arrived the place was full and the owner denied all knowledge of any booking or email. Judging by the flys hovering around our heads, the strange smells and the general air of grottyness I think we had a lucky escape.

After a hard days work i couldnt wait to get back and chill out. I arrived at Arden guest house and it stank so much that i felt sick. I was taking to my room and couldnt believe my eyes, it was disgusting. The bed looked like it hadnt been changed for a while, the towels were falling apart and...

Conveniently located, yes. The stay not convenient at all. The owner lady is very rude and actually thinks that she is doing you a favor by letting you in as a customer. I travelled in to aberdeen in the evening and she told me she would not check me in after 7 because she has to go have her dinner....

I stayed in a single room here for one night after finding the guesthouse listed on this website. I was greeted very warmly by the owners and led to my room. I felt my room was a little small considering the cost for one night however it was very clean and well presented with a small tv, digital tuner. The...

My wife & I have stayed at the Arden four times. It is in an excellent location, 5 minutes from the middle of busy Union Street, but very quiet & peaceful. We have family in Aberdeen & it is in an extremely convenient location for them to call in to us for a cup of tea in our room or...

Stopped at this friendly guest house for one night. The room was very small for two persons but had tv, dvd, tea and coffee making facilities and a small bathroom with shower. It was very clean. The guest house owners were very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was substantial including fruit, cereal, yogurt and, of course, a full compliment...

My husband and I stayed at the Arden last month and had quite an enjoyable time. Anne and Ilsa were warm and friendly, attentive, and responsive to our requests. Our room was comfortable and spotlessly clean, although the decor is pretty minimal. However, since our only concern is having a comfortable bed (and the bed was firm and comfy) in...

What a great place to stay! We had a rough trip getting there, however the owners made up for our troubles! They were so accomodating! The breakfast was out of this world! The rooms were small, but cozy and the location could not be better. A quiet side street which offered a good nights sleep! Would stay there again!

Arden Guest House is a very convenient place to get to the Bus Station or Rail Station for tours and is also a very clean Guest House served by the Owners with very generous breakfasts, besides being helpful to arrange Taxi etc when such things get a bit out of reach.
