Comfortable hotel, clean, sleep quality, service hotel excellent, reception very well and comfortable with hotel, room soo quiet, the bedroom is very comfortable, bathroom is very warm and water is very warm and strong enough.
OK for a place to rest your head. Fair price for a city centre hotel. Comfy bed. The rooms are badly designed: no sockets by bed. No mirror by table/desk. Not a drawer in site for storage. So, take an electrical extension lead with you!! No shower mat; floor is swimming with water after showering despite the very old fashioned shower curtain being firmly in place. Lovely hot water. Compared to the Premier Inn, Travelodge is the poor relation - and could so very easily be much more accommodating. Staff were helpful.
We booked for 2 nights and were allocated a room on the 6th floor which was deemed a "quiet" floor. The room had been recently refurbished and was extremely clean and very comfortable. Tea and coffee facilities were available in the room. The bed was king size and very comfortable, the shower room was spotless and the shower was excellent. Overall it was very difficult to pick any faults with this room. The hotel also had the added bonus of free parking which is unusual for a city centre location hotel. We would definitely stay there again.
Came here on Friday 13th November 2020. Well I have never ever had any problems with travelodges but this one was disgusting. Lifts stunk of weed and reception was not monitored at all! Never again! :( secure door on our floor as well was not working. Damp in bathroom. Honestly think this travelodge is used for homeless people. If I could go home tonight I certainly would. As seems tonight its just got worse instead of better! 😡😡 never will I stay here again! 😡 I wish I could email the hotel but can't! Arghhhh
Travel lodge usually really good, this time our room was rubbish. Bed needs new mattress i would say, hole in carpet patched up badly. Marks on the walls and ceiling. Not as good as if usually is at all. Stayed here many times.
