Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.

We stayed here on business in April. Location was perfect. It was a 5 minute walk from the station, right in the city centre, located next to some great bars and restaurants and with views over the harbor. Food was simple and just heated up but did the trick. The highlight however was Helen, the lady who checked us in and served in the restaurant. She was wonderful and the perfect host despite seriously multi tasking. We had a great deal which included dinner, breakfast, late checkout and prosecco. Would definitely recommend!

Hotel's Favourite
Everything about this hotel was great. The location was fantastic, near the shops and only a 20 min walk to the beach. All staff very helpful. My room was clean, bed comfortable and the best thing about it was the air conditioning!! Walking into my room to be greeted by a lovely cool wave was so good after being outside in the heatwave all day! Wifi was excellent and I had a good sized desk in my room to work from. Breakfast had a great selection of food. I would definitely stay here again when I next visit Aberdeen.

Stayed for one night. Staffs are very friendly and informative. Property is a bit dated and needing some renovation works but in good condition. Room and toilet is very clean. Hotel has hand sanitizer which you hardly find these days. Lovely stay in all. Will surely come back.

Lovely hotel in many respects. Very clean and friendly helpful staff. I was even given a free complimentary breakfast for signing up as an acor member. However am marking it down because the bed was so hard , like a park bench - making me wish id gone to the premier inn. For me , a comfortable bed is my main requirement along with cleanliness and security. Its a shame as otherwise id have lrobably given top rating :(

I was delighted with my stay at ibis Aberdeen Centre - Quayside. Great location ideal for train, bus and boat connections. Across the cobbled road from the Aberdeen Maritime Museum and metres away from a VUE cinema (should the weather turn bad). The room was comfortable, bright and attractive with all the amenities you'd want. The staff were genuinely lovely and helpful. Breakfast is buffet style with hot and cold British and European options. So, you can set yourself up for the day. The seating area in reception has a Games collection, suitable for all ages I recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Aberdeen, and I will certainly choose it again.
