This is a very fine hotel situated 10 minutes from Aberdeen city centre. It is surrounded by lovely woodland. The hotel has character and charm and original features and paintings dating back centuries. The hotel has a lot of history and the staff are very knowledgeable. We were really impressed with the warm and friendly welcome from Joanne on reception....

Was looking for something special but reasonably priced for a relaxing weekend in a building of character. To be fair we got a special rate which made it reasonably priced. Rack rate would put it in the expensive category in my view. From calling to make a reservation to checking out and everything in between the service was excellent. The...

We attended a wedding here and stayed overnight. We enjoyed everything. The room was lovely, staff very helpful and friendly and good food including a good range for breakfast. There was a fantastic Christmassy atmosphere in a gorgeous setting - we even saw two deer in the morning!

Dear Guest Thank you for your kind review. I am delighted to hear you enjoyed all aspects of the wedding celebration. Norwood is a fantastic setting for a wedding, our Pitfodels suite is a very attractive room with lots of natural light. The grounds provide great photo opportunities in addition to the stunning staircase in the old house. Our chefs...

I am staying here for a few nights on business and had heard in advance that the food in particular was very good. I had no idea how nice and elegant the hotel itself was going to be and how friendly the team working there were though. I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year with work and...

Fab rooms, spacious and luxurious, great family bathroom, great breakfast beautifully presented and good choice. Hotel grounds are fab, dinner in restaurant was priced and book able but bar menu fine for family meals. It was an...

We entertained some of our extended family to a wonderful dinner here. The food was very well presented, smoothly served and represented good value for money. Staff were attentive without being overbearing and the atmosphere was relaxing

We booked an overnight between Christmas and new year, on recommendation. The hotel itself has retained much of the original features of the old lodge house which are delightful. A warm and smokey smell welcomes you in Reception ; generous spacial proportions surround you in public areas; embossed and original wall coverings have been left as a mark of the...

We were planning a celebration of life to mark my mothers passing and to fulfill her last wishes that her ashes be scattered in a firework display and we chose Norwood Hall as it was convenient for all our guests but also had a good reputation and from the first call to the actual night we could not fault this...

We enjoyed a lovely festive afternoon tea on boxing day at Norwood Hall. The food was delicious, the mulled wine was amazing and the service was fantastic; all accompanied by a superb mix of song choices and overlooking the wooded grounds of the hotel. My only criticism is that, although there was a nice cosy fire in the reception area,...
