The staff are great and the rooms are spacious. The bed and tv are huge! We used the hotel as a base for the weekend as we were at a wedding on the Saturday. Just off the main city centre roads, it’s very quiet and comfortable. Natalia and Tyler serve up a tasty breakfast, all freshly cooked with all you could ask for. Bar and reception staff all helpful and friendly. Definitely recommend.

Very nice stay, quiet and spacious room and the staff were extremely obliging. The hotel is nicely appointed with everything I could have wanted. I didn't dine there but was able to enjoy good coffee and a dish of sorbet in the bar. Only there for 2 nights but would come back. The hotel is within walking distance to the main shops.

About 15 mins walk from Aberdeen station but handy for shops and bars. Only a few mins walk from one of the main streets (Union St). We didn't encounter many of the staff but both the lady on reception and the gent who welcomed us for breakfast were polite and helpful. We even got to check in early on arrival which was a big bonus considering it was only a short stay. Rooms were of a good size with a few extras in there like a safe and ironing facilities if you needed them. I found the bed to be comfortable too.

The hotel room was fine nice and spacious and the bathroom was very spacious, it was cold on arrival and took a while for the room to heat up. If you want the towel rail to be warm switch on straight away as it takes a while to heat. They could do with putting in extra glazing as you could hear cars, voices etc very easily. The fridge we didn't use but could do with a clean. The receptionist must have been fed up with dishing out t bags and sugar instead of being enough supplies in the room. The breakfast well what can I say, you get asked when you go in how much toast you want (came slightly well done). The food choice was not very varied and it was really cold. Could have been replenished quicker as scrambled eggs and mushrooms ran out and people were waiting around.

Was here with my work for our Christmas Party on Friday 8th December 2023. For the money that I paid, this meal was the worst I have ever experinced!!! I have no idea WHAT the starter was, it was supposed to be a tart, it looked like a piece of puff pastry that had died an agonising death, and didnt taste any better than it looked, the main (which was supposed to be a Turkey dinner) was inedible, the turkey was so hard and dry I couldnt eat it, vegetables were cold and over cooked. The sorbets tasted of cough medicine or soap!! The bar was very small for such a large venue (it was bring a part to a party) the queues were out the door. We were also crammed in like sandines, it was very hot and claustrophobic. Luckily the DJ was relly good and we enjoyed the rest of our evening on the dancefloor. Certianly wont be returning here as a venue for a Chirstmas party and will be encouraging others to think twice about this as a venue. Very disappointing )o:

Dear Global50736969504, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback regarding your recent Christmas Party experience at our venue. We are genuinely sorry to hear about your disappointment with the meal and some aspects of your evening. We understand how important a festive meal is during a Christmas party, and it is disheartening to learn that the quality of the food did not meet your expectations. Please accept our apologies for the issues you encountered with the starter, main course, and sorbets. This is certainly not the level of dining experience we strive to provide. We also appreciate your comments about the bar setup and the crowded conditions. We will consider your feedback as we plan for future events to ensure a more comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere for our guests. It's great to hear that you enjoyed the DJ and the dancefloor, as we want all aspects of your experience to be memorable. We sincerely regret any inconvenience caused and want to assure you that your feedback will be used constructively to improve our offerings for future events. We hope that you might reconsider and give us another opportunity to provide you with a more satisfying experience in the future. Warm regards Jamie

We ate here this evening using an Itison voucher. The food was absolutely amazing - we would recommend the Balmoral Chicken and the Haddock. It was great value for money. The service was really good. A nice clean place to have dinner in Aberdeen city centre - we will definitely come back.

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. My room was big, comfortable and clean. The bathroom was also rather big but could benefit from some renovations. The staff were very nice and helpful (I even received a voucher for a drink in the lounge bar on the ground floor). Finally, the location is very convenient and it is easy to walk to the hotel from the city centre amenities (shops, restaurant and museums). I would certainly recommend this hotel.
