Was here with the family on Christmas Day. The food was fantastic and the service from the staff was exceptional. Already booked for next year. We also stayed the night in a lovely room and had a great breakfast in the morning.

On a chilly day, we popped in here for lunch and enjoyed some warming soup and tasty sandwiches. Despite the Christmas menu being in full swing, they accommodated our light lunch request and served up what appeared to be' home-made' soup, which tasted delicious. Handy location for a quick bite if you're over in that side of town.

She made us aware of the breakfast deal which we accepted and we were glad we did....

Attended a funeral tea once again at the Palm Court this week and think they cater extremely well for the family and mourners. Excellent selection of food, especially given many people have often travelled a distance, and have a reasonably lengthy return journey to make. The service is very attentive too, without being intrusive. Definitely one of the best venues...

As title says staff were excellent. Friendly helpful and welcoming. Room was nice. Five I think it was but I found it noisy overlooking a busy road. Bacon at breakfast was poor.
