Stayed here for a night, quitely situated, but close to the centre of the City. The rooms where smartly done out and very comfortable. The staff where freindly and helpful. The breakfast was freshly cooked in front of you, with an open kitchen in the dinning area, a very pleasent change from the dry buffet breakfasts you see so much...

Our room was gorgeous. Food in the restaurant absolutely delicious. Service from all staff fantastic. Ideal central location. Would definitely stay there again. Only downside was that the room was very warm however a fan was supplied to help with this. Heating controls or air con would be better.

My husband and I stayed here on a date night in Aberdeen. We both work in the city and live outwith hence the hotel stay for a night out. Had heard about this hotel being good but we were both so surprised at how big it is once you are inside. Service at reception was friendly and efficient. We had...

Can't fault this hotel, it's in a great location for restaurants, bars, shops etc. the rooms are large, clean and modern, bed is comfortable. Bathroom has huge walk in shower and it's one of the best I've ever used in a hotel. They do nice cocktails in the bar and the staff are helpful and friendly. The breakfast is also...

Stumbled on the Bauhaus Hotel in Aberdeen after another hotel had let us down and 'lost' our booking. The initial welcome was very pleasant and friendly. I booked a standard room but even this was very well finished with a unique contemporary design and a luxurious bathroom. The hotel is all well finished and has an individual feel different from...

we stayed in a superior double room at this hotel, me and the hubby. Easy to find and very friendly staff. Nice combined bar/reception area at street level. The room we had was really lovely and spacious, great wee touches, fantastic decor, comfy bed, HUGE walk in shower (I suspect that a bit of the space for the sink/toilet was...

I love this hotel as the rooms are well equipped with walk-in showers etc and its also well located for central Aberdeen. Some nice individual features (exposed brick work, art, coffee machines) which get you far away from the chain hotel experience. Would be my hotel of choice in Aberdeen. Food in Grants restaurant is good, well-presented reasonably priced and...

We stayed over three days in this lovely modern hotel. Staff were always smiling and polite. Rooms were spacious and had a wet room. Wi Fi free. Excellent coffee and tea facilities. Breakfast was great. Had one evening meal in the hotel which we thought was not only reasonable, but well cooked and perfectly served. We thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Funky, modern room with great TV, fast Wifi (~15Mb/sec) ideal for remote working. The shower is a treat, and the cooked breakfasts were excellent (if a little small for my greed level). In my front-of-the-building exec room, the noise of the city was obvious, simply due to geography. Highly recommended overall.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Set in the heart of Aberdeen city centre, our contemporary, iconic granite building opened its doors in November 2009. Located very close to Union Street, the hotel provides easy access to the city's shops, nightlife and sights. We recognise that style and flair for design need not break the bank. Our yummy cocktails, fabulous linen, flat screen TVs, free WiFi, luxurious Aveda bathroom products, all help to redefine the urban hotel experience in Aberdeen. It is the first high quality, no fuss, value-for-money boutique hotel in town. ... more   less
