This is the first time I had been here. I made the booking over the phone and I originally wanted to book into the Atlantis Restaurant, but it is closed on a Monday. The lady on the telephone was most helpful, explaining that we could still have the restaurant menu alongside the Bar, Market and Specials menus. They also accepted...

We organised a dinner, bed and breakfast overnight stay as a joint gift for our friends big birthdays and it was fantastic. We both had delightful rooms with a delicious dinner in a beautiful dining room and the wine and the service was first class. Breakfast is freshly cooked and served in a very relaxed environment. All in all couldn't...

This was our second visit to this hotel both visits were done through a voucher scheme. The price included dinner, bed & breakfast in a superior room. We actually stayed in the same room as last time. The room was spacious with a good sized bathroom, lots of towels and a heated towel rail. The room was clean but needs...

Upon arrival myself and 3 others were greeted by a woman at reception who has got to be the moodiness waitress I've ever come across in my life. When we asked if we could just go through to the restaurant we didn't even get a reply, just some sort of excuse for a grumble. When we asked the same woman...

Am almost ashamed to say, that I hadn't discovered this place before. We were fruitlessly looking for a local seafish restaurant open on a Monday in Aberdeen and pickings were slim. We phoned up the Mariner Hotel and despite the fact they didn't have their restaurant open, they offered to set us up with a table in the bar. Our...

Returned to this first class hotel and was certainly not disappointed. After making our booking I phoned to see if it would be possible to check in early and the staff could not have been more helpful. Upon arrival everything was in place, we checked in had a terrific bar lunch then headed into town. We had booked for dinner...

We went for dinner to celebrate my husband's birthday. He ordered the baked Brie and I had garlic bread as starters. He went on to fillet steak which was delicious. I ordered the daily special of tuna steak with salsa. When it arrived it was not even tepid. I informed the waitress who took it away. It came back warmer...

Six of us were in for dinner on Saturday past. The place was busy with functions but we were accommodated without a fuss. Coincidentally all of us had turkey and all the trimmings. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and barely a morsel was left. Staff were very efficient and pleasant as ever. A very pleasant visit.

I had booked the bar between 6-7 for a special wee dinner. It didn't disappoint. Lovely food u hardly had to chew, which is good...

We discovered this excellent hotel through a special offer. We thoroughly appreciated the professionalism of the staff in a warm and homely atmosphere. The room was significantly larger than we had expected; very spacious. The fridge was a bonus as was the fresh milk supplied for the tea/coffee. Parking is great, despite the location being in the city. Being on...
