Stopped in on the way passed to get a bit to eat in the way to Derry. Poor choice on early bird menu. And not fit for a dog when served to the table. Champ looked like they used the fat from a chip pan on it. It was the colour of cardboard

I stayed here for a business trip with a colleague. Neither of us was very impressed. The first impression was to run out and find something else but after checking the rooms to make sure that they did not smell as bad as the rest of the place and that it was clean and no rats running around we decided...

We stayed at the Mellon Country Hotel as we were attending a country night with Keltic country. I must say the hotel was very nice, the staff were excellant especially the supervisor Alex. She was so helpful and kind, as I am disabled I really appreciated all the help she gave me. The reception staff and the restaurant staff were...

Arrived home from shopping and we couldn't be bothered cooking so we though we would try the Mellon. The sea bass dish my wife had was really excellent and we would thoroughly recommend trying it. Meaty fish with really good accompaniments. I had fish cakes as a main course with home made fries and there was plenty to eat. The...

Good service speed for meal in restaurant, good quality food spoiled somewhat by a surly brown-haired waitress-cum-receiptionist. Set down food several times without so much as a 'thank you' or 'there you go, enjoy your meal'. Did not enquire as to how we were enjoying our meal and didn't even deign to say goodbye. We did leave the standard/minimum tip,...

We stayed here for two nights during a busy weekend locally. One of the four couples got upgraded to the Executive Suite which was lovely - well equipped, spacious, and an exceptionally comfortable bed. My husband and I had a 'normal' room which again as comfortable and well equipped. I do not like shower curtains so that would be my...

We stopped for lunch on Friday on route to Ballina and had a lovely lunch especially the sea food chowder. Service excellent and staff friendly. The restaurant was busy although it was after 2pm and people were still coming and going. It must be known for all day type service. Would visit again.
