Great location. The staff were very helpful getting me an early check-in (I arrived at 9am and they managed to find a room for me) which made things MUCH easier for me after a very early flight out of Stanstead. Breakfast was great and the shared areas of the hotel are good and social. The reception bar is nice and...

I stayed here on Bank Holiday Monday 4 th May. The room was great, well appointed with fantastic views over the river. Reception staff were helpful and friendly but the bar staff lacked attention to basic service. I sat at a dirty table for 10 minutes before someone came to wipe it and ask if I would like a drink....

I stayed at the Derry Cityhotel on business and was upgraded to the Penthouse upon arrival . I dined in Thompsons restauraunt and the food and service were superb. Beautiful, high quality tasty food, friendly staff and warm atmosphere. The rooms wee spacious, luxurious and I felt pampered. I will definitely be back and I have no hesitation in stating...

We spent four nights in a superior room on the 5th floor, which was large, well equipped, and came with a fine view of the Foyle, the Waterside and the Peace Bridge. It was also high enough for us not to be bothered by noise, important since the hotel caters for parties, wedding receptions, etc., especially at weekends. The breakfasts...

I booked my colleagues and myself into this hotel for a week whilst we worked locally nearby. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The gym was well equipped with treadmills, cross trainer, steppers and bikes. There were also some weights and floor space. The food in the restaurant in the evening was nice and good portions. The breakfast cooked option...

Stayed for Saturday and Sunday nights 16 k 17 May. Thought a 4 star establishment would be a treat after long days driving seeing the sights, what an error! Given room 213 which turned out to be above the function rooms. Very loud thumping music on Saturday night from 9.00pm, whole room just reverberated, bathroom noisier as sound came through...

I was in Ireland recently for the Pan Celtic week. A bus load of us stayed at the City Hotel London Derry. From the moment we arrived to the day we left, the service was amazing. Our room was large and spacious, overlooking the Peace Bridge, The big wheel and the river, lovely view at night as well. The lounge...

Stayed here on business for a couple of nights. The hotel it's self is right on the waterfront across from peace bridge. The setting fantastic for a city break. There is a car park on site although with not enough spaces to room ratio. Rooms are very nice n clean, the facilities good, the food excellent and the staff very...

Dear kevin s Thank you for your review, we are delighted you enjoyed you stay with us, unfortunately the footprint of the hotel doesn't allow for a larger car park but we do have two car parks adjacent to the hotel at very keen negotiated rates for our residents, cheaper than any other city centre parking. We hope you may...

I was there for two nights and that was enough. The staff is friendly, the rooms average size but the food was bland for breakfast and dinner. There aren't enough choices for either meal as well. It's a good location for walking to the downtown area. It's nothing to rave about.

If you like jazz, this was the place to be during the festival, as the hotel hosted bands through the afternoon and evening. Great music, but OH so loud and crowded! And I hear that the festival is getting bigger all the time. I don't know how the hotel could ever host 'bigger', as there was a line waiting outside...
