We stayed here for one night. The facilities are comfortable but the bedrooms/baths somewhat dated. Joan was friendly and helpful with recommendations. We were served breakfast at the Merchant's House which seemed to be a step up. No major complaints and would stay again.

The Sadder House is a wonderful value and located near most tourist regions in Derry. Once you arrive, you must find parking on the street for the overnight. We were very lucky to get a spot and felt that our vehicle would be safe overnight. We were warmly greeted and promptly shown to our room along with some pleasant conversation...

My cousin and I stayed in this charming B and B for 4 days. The owners were gracious and helpful, a retired history professor and his wife. The hotel is clean and very nicely decorated. Bathroom was tiny but that is common in Europe. The breakfast room was lovely and sunny, and the full Irish breakfast cooked to order was...

This is an elegantly decorated old mansion with the personal touch of its owners. They greeted me warmly, and made me feel welcome. The room was wonderful, with the best bathroom I'd had in Ireland. Everything worked in the room.

We enjoyed our stay here and had our best B&B breakfast of our entire Ireland trip! The older home is lovely and we were quite comfortable there. It is within walking distance of all tourist attractions in Derry. Our hosts were delightful and friendly.

Rick Steves was right--what a wonderful place to rest and recoup! Joan and Peter were excellent hosts who warmly greeted us upon our arrival. Joan gave us a very detailed guide to local restaurants for dinner and told us what special sites to see during our 24-hour visit to Londonderry. The room was quiet and comfortable with plenty of on-street...

I had such a lovely experience in this B&B. The room was lovely and clean with some pieces of old furniture, which made me feel quite at home. I had a twin single room which had lots of space if you needed to stay for a while. Unfortunately I was only there for one night. Joan was lovely and very...

We stayed two nights hosted in a quirky, chatty and engaging fashion by Joan. The room was of an adequate size and as others have commented the bathroom is tiny. We thought it unusual to only be given one towel for two people but Joan willingly obliged with another. We enjoyed the communal breakfast at a large table and the...

I stayed for two nights. Peter & Joan were very helpful and accommodating. They went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable and answering questions. They gave me a map, made suggestions of what to see and where to eat and so on. Nothing at all was a bother to them. I needed a room without a lot...

My two Sisters and I stayed here, having previously stayed at one of their rented properties. Peter and Joan are seasoned hosts and know how to make you welcome. One of my Sister's is unwell so was given a ground floor room, which was perfect. We all had single occupancy of a room and all were with comfortable double beds...
