What a great location and friendly home from home experience. There are great views of the river and Jim showed me a great walk through the nearby park with lovely views too. It was also easy to walk to the historic peace bridge and cross the river into the town centre, take your camera! This is one not to miss... More

I travel a lot and this is the best, most welcoming place to stay I've ever found. D and Jim are lovely, warm people and make you feel instantly at home in their beautiful house. They do everything just right. Their understanding of the vagaries of my job (working times, etc.)has made life much easier and has been much appreciated.... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Caw Cottage during the first week of December and we would not hesitate to stay again. Jim and Dee are exceptionally good hosts - friendly, caring, concerned to our well being and lovely to be with. Our room was very clean, warm and comfortable (so important during the cold and wet wintery nights in... More

We arrived at Caw Cottage 3 hours before check-in and were pleasantly greeted with the warmest hospitality from Dympna (Dee). We were welcomed inside Caw Cottage - warm, homely, welcoming with a very family orientated environment. Dee supplied us with choices for hot and cold beverages, as we accepted Dee pointed us into the direction of the lounge. Again, pleasantly... More

Caw Cottage is a great place to stay as a base for touring the Derry area - we regret not staying there longer than a night. It's a lovely place, where Jim and Dee are welcoming and helpful. The room is great and there's an outstanding breakfast - Dee really pulls out all the stops in her full Irish breakfast.... More

Quite unexpectedly we had to spend a night in Derry and our friend's mum could not put us up. At very short notice, this couple, the owners of Caw Cottage, and friend's our friend's mum, took us in and, due to the special circumstances, offered us a discount for a double-room. Everything in Caw Cottage is superb: It is clean,... More

If you want to learn about Derry city while enjoying wonderful food and service, stay here! Jim and Dympna will treat you like family, anticipating your every need and then some. They go above and beyone (Jim drove us out to his favorite spot to overlook the entire city). They are ambassadors for Derry -they have lived through the Troubles... More

We picked this B&B because of the positive reviews on tripadvisor and found that they were absolutely justified. Jim and Dympna were fabulous hosts. They were an absolute delight with our two year old daughter, even to the point of singing her to sleep one night! My little girl has been asking for them ever since. Her parents (i.e. us!)... More

We arrived in Derry and met Jim and felt right at home immediately. After showing us around, Jim got us settled in and welcomed us with some hot tea and fresh baked bread! Our ensuite room, overlooking his lovely back garden was quite cozy and nice. We awoke our first day to a wonderful Full Irish Breakfast, fresh fruit and... More
