Thanks to the guys for putting us up when we there was no alternative. Had the 4 of us in one room. Room was spotless and homely. Food was great too! What gives them a 5 star is the hospitality!!! Great stay

Yesterday my family and I slept at Caw Cottage. We loved it from the second Jim opened the door until the very last moment we had to leave. Jim is a great host with a lot of humor. Dee is very sweet and takes care of you as you are her own family. Besides their hospitality, the breakfast is awesome... More

Jim and Dee were the best hosts and clearly love doing what they do. They were so accommodating and welcoming, they made us feel right at home and had us laughing all the while. The room was clean and comfortable and breakfast was amazing. Their personalized service made our stay over the top. Can't say enough wonderful things.

It was a very hot day when I arrived but Jim welcomed me with a pot of tea, biscuits and freshly made bread and jam. Dymphna introduced me to Derry's history via her father's book about growing up in the city in the 1930s and 40s. A fascinating and moving story. Excellent breakfast; great fellow-guests; very helpful and kind hosts.

After years of seeing the various places in Ireland, finally got to Derry. Read the reviews of Caw Cottage and was pleased that they had a vacancy. Welcomed warmly by Jim and Dee, a very comfortable room and lovely breakfast. The best part was the hospitality and insights into Derry and the surrounding area. A genuine pride in the city... More

My wife, 3 children and myself stayed at Caw Cottage for 1 night sat/sun. I cannot praise the owners Jim and Dympna enough. Right from the off we were made to feel right at home and the children loved the place that much they didn't want to go out for dinner so we got a take away from one of... More

My wife and I had a most wonderful few days in Derry, each one beginning with a delicious breakfast. I could not resist the full Irish, while my wife opted for the smoked salmon and scrambled egg, both of which set us up for the rest of the day. Nothing was too much trouble for Dee and Jim, whether it... More
