We booked our room through a third party site, last weekend for Valentine's Night. All that was avaliable was a twin room. This was for my husband and I and our two year old daughter, who had a travel cot. A twin room didn't bother us, because we were just glad to be getting away for the night. Staff were...

My hubby and I have just spent a lovely time at the Waterfoot Hotel, the food was lovely, great selection on the menu and presented very well. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself is very clean and the rooms are comfortable, ( I could have stayed in the bed longer lol). We will definately be staying...

The staff were mainly very friendly and helpful, the quality and taste of food both the dinner and breakfast was very good but I feel they need to change the from buffet style of breakfast for the hot food to an order service. I got a rude response from the chef who was under pressure over fried eggs at breakfast...

Stayed for one night and had dinner in the restaurant. Staff couldn't do enough for us, very pleasant and helpful, a lot of establishments could learn from them. Hotel itself was retro and restaurant very tasteful. Food was very good, nicely presented and very tasty while being good value. Nice small adjoining bar was perfect fora couple of after dinner...

We were visiting family in Derry and chose to stay here as it was cheaper than the Premier Inn on that particular weekend. We had a nice clean room. There was a safe but it wasn't attached to anything, which kind of defeated the purpose. We booked room only but paid for breakfast one day, it was okay but I...

We stayed here recently and had a good deal for two nights BnB and one evening meal. The reception decor was modern and trendy but once in the room we went back to the 1980's with a pink bathroom suite! For the price we cant complain about the decor at all, its just a bit of a let down after...

A nice friendly hotel with lovely food. The old style bar and a contrasting modern wine bar was a nice unusual touch.Food was delicious & reasonable @ under €100 for 2 for 3 course meal with wine & drinks. For the desserts we ordered 2 chefs platters only to be presented with a plate of 4 slices of different cakes...

Had lunch here last week with my husband & my mum. Haven't been for a while ( as we are not from this area) but we still enjoyed it just as much. We liked the fact that although it was Sunday, we had the option of the carvery or the restaurant, as in some places, Sunday is carvery day. I...

Stayed 3 nights, 15/17 October 2014, together with 10 other relatives. All of us in Derry to attend a wedding at another location. Very pleasant bar, with roaring log fire, friendly staff and customers. Lunches and dinners were excellent and very reasonably priced. All the staff were extremely pleasant and helpful. Reasonably short scenic walk alongside railway and river, then...

My husband & I had our wedding reception here for our wedding on 30th August 2014. We both have to agree that it was the most amazing, perfect day of our lives, and all of our 130 guests have nothing but brilliant things to say about the Waterfoot. The campaign reception for all our guests (which was included in the...
