A very friendly and warm welcome despite myself being quite late! (sorry again!) A very good location as easy access to the Mournes, of which was the reason of my trip. I hopefully will come back again.

My friend & I stayed on 31.10.16 & had a brilliant overnight stay. Warm, welcoming & wise words from the wee dynamo that is Steff/ Stephaine - genuine hosting skills, right down to the belly laughs & giggles over the "thing that shall not be named" Fortunately, I travel with incense & candles lol.Seriously, this hostel is a wee (soon...

A really warm hostel, probably the warmest that I have been to and I've stayed in hundreds and not just the toasty warm temperature but the lovely welcome you receive. A really homely feeling in this place. Gorgeous livingroom with a magical fire place and stove burning in it. The radiators in the rooms heat you up to your heart's...

The hostel was perfect for us. So close to town and to Slieve Donard, which was out reason to stay. Everywhere was clean and Stephanie was so helpful and lovely. The bathrooms are spotless and the fire was so nice. I haven't seen a nice sitting room with a fire in in a hostel before. Our room was basic but...

We stayed at the Hutt for one night and got a very warm welcome. It's extremely clean and welcoming. Staff were v attentive and after a lovely meal at Quinns we came back to a lovely toasty fire in the lounge.

The hostel is very clean and a good place to stay if you are in the area. We stayed there for one night only and hiked to the top of nearby Slieve Donard. We also had a great conversation with Stephanie who works at the hostel. Highly recommended and thanks for having us.

My husband and I decided we would take a break from the city and spend the night in Newcastle. Our stay was fantastic. Hutt Hostel is located right at the shorefront; perfect for a stroll on the promenade or a trip to the beach. It is such a cosy place to stay- warm, nicely decorated and a very homely atmosphere....

The hostel is pretty much what you would expect if you've done much time into them, although the complementary light breakfast (tea, toast and cereal) was a nice surprise. The staff are friendly but maybe wait until opening time at 5pm rather than ringing the number suggested if your early. This is another difference from other hostels we've stayed in...
