From the minute we arrived for our short break to our time of departure I was amazed buy the friendly staff who could not have done any more to make us feel welcome. The breakfasts were superb and we also enjoyed the bar food over a few friendly pints. Both the duty managers we met , John and Tony offered...

My husband and I booked this hotel on the basis that it was within our budget and it had parking as we hired a car for our trip to Belfast. People on here are too negative and seem to expect a lot from what I'd call a reasonably priced hotel. We stayed for £65 a night compared to the central...

Had the worst hotel experience ever and cancelled the 2nd night stay. Had the pleasure of listening to person in room next door tv until 5.30am with no let up. To make matters worse could hear every noise he made - disgusting! The bin was full when we arrived, a half empty pack of biscuits on the tea tray and...

We as a family have been patrons of the Lansdowne for quite some time and we were disappointed to read the negative comments as published in 'Belfast Live'. The staff alone are 10/10, and the food is varied and enjoyable. The atmosphere is friendly and relaxed, The staff go over and beyond to provide an excellent service. The bedrooms may...

Stayed the one night on business. Check-In was friendly although payment for the nights accomodation was taken immediately and was informed that a full printed invoice should be available upon checking out in the morning. The room was pretty drab and tired looking showing considerable wear with scuffs and scratches to painted surfaces and bedside units. The windows didn't manage...

Worst hotel ive ever been to so far. The bar area is nice Staff are friendly. The food at the wedding was hard to eat & the bedrooms are a joke. The furniture is stained the toilets are disgusting. You need to see it to believe it.

Hi Paddy, thank you for your review. I understand your comments with regard to payment. We unfortunately had a complete internet breakdown and this couldn't be repaired until Monday, this is the first time that this has happened for such a severe disruption to our business. We will look into taking Euro's going forward. I also understand your comment re...

My son and I went to the Lansdowne for Sunday lunch and it was wonderful. I had not booked a table but they very kindly found room for us - it was a very busy restaurant. The carvery was wonderful - it had something for everyone. The price was equally very reasonable.
