I was totally surprised on the 2nd of July in the Europa by my boyfriend when he proposed.......I said yes! He did tell me though that as he checked in he nervously told the lady on reception Linda as to what his intentions were. He said she was very helpful and excited for him. She upgraded the room for us...

I stayed one night at the Europa as part of a Railtours Ireland package. The front desk staff checked my in quickly and efficiently, and were very knowledgable. My room (504) was very nicely appointed, clean, bright, and had a wonderfully comfortable bed. The WiFi, while not blindingly fast, was stable and easy to connect with. I had probably the...

The Europa is in a very central location in the heart of Belfast. You cant go wrong here at this level. The Opera House is just next door, the train station and bus station and the oldest Victorian bar in Belfast, the Crown is across the street. This location makes up for the drawbacks of the hotel. Rooms are clean,...

This is a highly rated hotel, but we had some likes and dislikes making it hard to rate, On the positive side. Very friendly, helpful staff. Very good central location - several pubs/restaurants within a few minutes walk. Very attractive decor, clean, well kept and quiet. Public areas were very nice - especially the upstairs (mezzanine) lounge/bar area which is...

Dear Guest, Thank you for your kind feedback following your recent stay at the Europa Hotel. I am so pleased that you enjoyed your time spent in many areas of the hotel and especially enjoyed our Piano Lounge area. I apologise that you found your room type rather small throughout your stay. However I am delighted that this did not...

We opted for the Executive type bedroom, which gave us a larger than normal room, with a huge, extremely comfortable bed. The Europa is in the heart of Belfast and is easily accessible all round, thanks to taxis outside as well as the train and bus station behind. The hotel is extremely well established in Belfast, and rightly so. The...

It wasn't until after we'd checked in that we read that the Europa is famous for being the most bombed hotel in Ireland during "the troubles" as it was knows for hosting dignitaries. Luxurious surroundings but the room was quite small; nice view of the street and quiet. Not sure if I liked that the entrance was locked at night...

The Europa was a lovely hotel to stay in, very close to everything in the city centre and the staff couldn't be more helpful. The beds were also incredibly comfortable and the breakfast is good too.
