Found the Ibis near Swansea university very handy to stay in for a weekend family gathering. Friendly helpful staff, good bar area, excellent breakfast and the room was more than adequate. Initially the bathroom greeted us with a stale drain odour, something a drop of toilet duck or similar would have removed and be more welcoming. Bed more than comfortable... More

Hotel is in a good location for access to Swansea city centre. I have stayed here several times and they have a large carpark. You must enter your registration on arrival. Beds are comfy and they have tea making facilities in rooms and televisions. Walls do need a lick of paint but overall clean enough.

Stayed this week for one night. Spacious and clean room. Busy road outside so some traffic noise. Friendly welcome at reception and at bar. Limited evening menu so better to eat in the city. Free parking available during stay.

I recently visited this hotel to meet up with my brother who I hadn't seen for 6 months. He was staying in the hotel for 2 nights on a tour with his choir from Nottingham. I live locally, but turned up on a Sunday morning to have a coffee and croissants (bought from the hotel) to spend 50 minutes with... More

I have stayed at this hotel, many times (since before it was an Ibis) and it has improved every time. A great location for easy access and close to downtown and the museums etc. Very friendly and competent staff always make you welcome and the bacon at breakfast is excellent!

When I have stayed at Ibis hotels before rooms have been new/newly renovated and small but rooms at this Ibis was neither. Pretty big room and especially the large bathroom. The hotel is near a pretty big road so if you have the window open you can hear the traffic. It takes about 20 minutes to walk in to the... More

The hotel receptionist was friendly and very helpful. He ordered a taxi for us, which arrived promptly. The room was clean and tidy, although the radiator was a bit temperamental (room was a bot cold initially). Overall though, very good value for money.
