Went to this hotel, when we got there no where to park we waited 40 minutes waiting for a space even though we spoke to the hotel. We eventually checked in and was given the annex room. OH MY GOD it smelt disguisting, broken furniture and curtains didnt close as not on a rail, a few nails on the wall...

Our room was in an annex at the rear reached through an alleyway used as a parking area and full of cars and commercial vehicles. I could not park at all until someone else left. It fell very short of the claims made in their advertisement. The telephone was not connected and therefore did not work. The carpet was worn...

HOMELESS BEWARE IF YOUR OFFERED A FREE STAY AVOID YOUR BETTER OFF!!!! The room was colder than liquid nitrogen!!!! When we checked in around 11pm the windows were wide open (sieving the smell of curry of the hotel) and the curtains were getting a wash (desperately needed) sucked out the window, went to shut the window (and the blinds fell...

We booked this hotel for one night whilst the rugby was on in Cardiff. We were disappointed. The room was not up to standard, the cups were dirty, there was a razor left in the bathroom from previous guests, the chair was completely broken and the bathroom light didn't work properly. Worst of all, there was a storm during the...

I booked this hotel for 1 night only because it was very close to Newport. Shocked by how rough the hotel looked; found that it was even worse in the annex where my room was. Dark, narrow corridors, very smelly, shoddy all round. Furniture hanging off, light bulbs not working in room. Breakfast very poor, even had turkey rashers instead...

Stayed for one night whilst working in Newport. The hotel is situated in a busy road in a tatty area. My room was at the front and I was concerned at first about the potential noise but it wasn't an issue with the window shut. The room itself was basic and could do with a refurbishment of the furniture and...

Booked this hotel for one night only when attending a concert in the town. Used a booking site where photos and reviews looked good and price was fantastic at 60.00 including breakfast. However upon arrival I was immediately struck by how tatty it looked despite being described as newly refurbished. I therefore decided to ask to view the room prior...

Up on arrival I had been given nothing but a very warm welcome. However I during the course of the night I was awoken at 03.30am. By what I can only describe as a gurgling boiler, which repeated itself for over half an hour. Not being able to get back to sleep, I got showered in a very limited bathroom...

We recently stayed here for two nights and had a great time. The price was good, we was let in the room a few hours early and we was pleasantly surprised by the size, quality and cleanliness of the room. The room looked like it had recently been refurbished and had an amazing power shower. There is not lots to...
