I have been here before and had excellent service, and I wasn't disappointed this time either. The hotel is still first rate. The rooms are very good and spacious and the dining is very good too. The Twenty Twenty course was magnificent - the first time I have played it. Overall, this is one of my favourite weekend breaks for...

I stayed for two nights this week while attending a conference and I have to say that in my opinion it's a conference hotel. I had been looking forward to my visit and read the reviews thinking some seemed quite harsh but unfortunately I have to agree with some of them. I stayed on the 9th floor and am assuming...

Stayed here on a dinner, bed and breakfast package. Room was OK but in need of update. Good sized bathroom, but again showing signs of age. Dinner (buffet) was disappointing (salad bar in particular) as was breakfast (not much difference to the breakfast we had the previous day in a Premier Inn). Pool in the Forum was over subscribed -...

I visited here with my daughters for the Tea Time Me Time package, this was a present for my birthday. We were told we could use the facilities at 09.00am, we arrived at 09.30. We could not use the pool or the jacuzzi due to there being the most children I have ever seen in a place. The noise was...

Me, my mum and my sister visited here recently for the 'Tea time, me time' package which me and my sister bought for my Mum's Christmas present. The package included a day at the resort's swimming pool, with access to the spa facilities such as the sauna and jacuzzis. The package also included afternoon tea. The only thing that we...

We went to the New year Gala Ball at Celtic Manor which was attended by about 500 people. Food was good considering the number of people being catered for and the complimentary wine was a nice touch. The band were great and had everyone up dancing. A good evening. Our room was on the 9th floor and in need of...

Our room, which was a superior queen (refurbished) with balcony, was ready on check in at 12:15. Bit of a check in queue, but were soon in our room 908, overlooking the main entrance area. Great, comfy bed with 3 seats in the room. Ample wardrobe space, with fluffy robes and slippers. Nicely appointed bathroom with Elemis products. Wardrobe door...

Stayed here for a spa evening & over night stay with my sister. The hotel was quite old fashioned and very quiet, but peaceful. Room was lovely and clean, beds were very comfortable and shower was amazing! Plenty of choice in the breakfast, and it was lovely! The stay was very relaxing and was exactly what I needed.

Three of us travelled from Porthcawl to The Celtic Manor for a special family lunch on Monday 20/02/2017. We didn't really know what to expect but were hoping of course that it would be really enjoyable. Contrary to what we were hoping for, the whole experience left us feeling very disappointed! After taking a mini bus from the car park...
