Pool was down steps, no loungers to relax. Lockers were broken and nothing on my key to attach to my costume. Showers lovely with free hairdryer to use. Our room was clean and tidy however dated. Too different curtains materials! Restaurant evening meal was lovely and service good. Breakfast was nice plenty of choice however there were steps that you...

Took 25 minutes to check in after they tried to convince me that I needed to pay again. Tv switched itself on at 2am. Fire alarm about 1m from my head going off at 4am. Only one towel for a double room. Filthy windows. No word of an apology. Avoid.

Brilliant staff. Everyone super friendly - couldn't do enough to help - even looked after our mountain bikes. This made a huge difference to our stay. Many thanks. Spot on! Breakfast good, beds comfy and a decent spa. Bar serves food until late. Overall really good, all of the above more than make up for the slightly dated decor. Would...

The hotel is very tired and in need of a refresh. The shower was better than useless and the bathroom smelled like an bad nursing home. The food was not great at all. The menu was extremely limited for both bar and restaurant. I had a cheese and ham omelette and asked for it with extra dressed salad instead of...

Have stayed here a number of times and always find it 'OK'. The rooms are dated but are a decent size. The gym and pool could do with some TLC and the bar/restaurant feel a bit circa1999. The food is good though and staff friendly. I would see this as a hotel to choose if you are on a budget...

Wasn't too happy with this hotel for the price per night. I found the room to be a bit outdated and not the cleanest. There were handles missing off furniture and the furniture was old and tired looking. I was going to have a bath until I noticed the brown scum line round the edge , which came off when...

The hotel is superb, good location and the staff extremely helpful but as we were looking forward to the facilities advertised it was a massive dissapointnent . The pool looked lovely but it was like a public bath full of kids and lessons the whole weekend, Only 2 lanes available to cater for all its guests and members. The members...

Stayed at this hotel for a wedding. When booking, price was cheaper online. My wife rang them and was told that there was a transfer service to and from the wedding venue. On booking in we were told this was not available. Ended up paying more for the room than necessary and also taxi fares. Hotel a bit tired and...

A single night stay on a business trip. The hotel is easily accessed from the M4 and has good road links which is in part why I chose it. The decor in the public spaces and in the rooms is somewhat dated and the bathroom could certainly do with an update. However, there were no real problems. The rooms are large...

Still in the middle of a 3 night stay but we are that impressed already! We stayed in a superior room and whilst the rooms decor is a little dated, the quality is decent, it's clean and very comfortable. The bed, pillows and duvet all add up to a very good nights sleep. Whilst the drinks in the bar are...
