Friendly staff who were very helpful. The room was basic, clean and tidy with open wardrobe space. Location both good for walking into the town centre and to Mermaid Quay. No restaurant on site but has some snacks in a machine or can order takeaway. Breakfast was fine although would have been better if there was bacon and also muesli....

Only 10-15 minute walk from the City center. Staff were exceptionally friendly. Only minor criticism was the water pressure in the shower was not great. Breakfast is included and the price was less that we thought too!

We only stayed here for 1 night so for us the hotel was ok for this. This hotel is in a good location to the city centre easy to walk there so need to get a taxi. The hotel itself to me does need a bit of modernisation to bring it up to date but for only one night it...

We stayed here for a night and found it a very nice place to stay at. It was easy to find and had plenty of parking spaces. OK you had to pay £6 a night but at least the car was safe parked here. We arrived early but was told our room was ready and we could check in. Our...

Both Reception and service staff are very friendly and helpful. Room size adequate, good bathroom, air conditioning works OK. Double bed is 5ft and seemed small - recommend twin beds for couples. Wi-Fi fast but initial access needs to be simplified - why is a username and password required when I'm only staying here 1-2 nights? Surely my surname and...

We stayed as a family with a dog for one evening. The staff were really helpful and friendly, the room was perfectly adequate, clean and good value for money. Breakfast was good with a wide choice and the location is great for seeing Cardiff. This is not 5* luxury but you aren't paying 5* prices. I would definitely stay here...

The hotel name is a little bit misleading as the hotel isn't actually on the bay, but a big, artificial, rectangular expanse of water about half way between the bay and the town centre. However, it is a good, quiet location within easy walking distance (15-20 mins) of the bay (restaurants, bars etc.) in one direction, and the town centre...

Dear Croggy Many thanks for taking the time to review your stay with us. I'm pleased to hear you enjoyed the location of the hotel. The East Dock is actually the remnants of where the schooner boats used to berth in order to ship items such as coal in the days where this was major industry in Cardiff. This water...

The hotel is in a good position for visiting Cardiff Town Centre, The Millennium Stadium and Cardiff Bay. It offers a comfortable, clean and pleasant room with a reasonable quality breakfast. Dear Markio_12 Many thanks for taking the time to leave this review for us. We do offer discounted rooms throughout the course of the year and can of course do this more when there are no events or significant demand - and of course would never cut the services which we offer when we do discount our rooms. Of course...

I booked two rooms for two nights to attend a RWC match with my family. Obviously rooms in Cardiff were in high demand at this time so there was a fair amount of price gouging. The amount I paid was not reflected in the quality of the hotel. I found the staff at the hotel to be pleasant and very...
