A fabulous room, we stayed in a club room, which was fabulous. The only let down, was the pub did not have the food required. Drinks I found a little expensive. Otherwise a very good place to stay. Very ccentral

The charge for one night was over £200 for a fairly standard room. This is very over priced. A very noisy night's sleep and certainly not the services of the cost. The new automated check-in was awful.

Self-service check-in was easy with assistance from staff. Complimentary upgrade was appreciated but a kettle in the room is more useful than a coffee machine. This was provided by one of the housekeeping staff. The room was clean if a bit on the small side for three people. The king-size bed was comfortable and my granddaughter found the bed-settee comfortable....

We upgraded to a modern spacious Club room, which is worth doing. Note that there are no twin bedded club rooms,...

Friendly hotel, close to Cardiff center for shopping. Pleasant room with all the amenities you could ask for. Only small downside was that we could hear noise from neighboring rooms. Would like to stay again to use the leisure facilities.

Hotel was generally good. Breakfast left little to be desired and whilst hotel staff were friendly, personally I found it a bit 'much', like being spoken to by the checkout assistant when you do your food shop and comments made about everything you have bought! Health club was good and changing rooms very clean with plenty of room. Food from...

Around 10.40pm after a long day of Christmas shopping my husband and I had just got into bed when a disco started in the function room below us. The room was bouncing. We contacted reception and asked for something to be done however nothing was done. After 20mins we rang again and asked to be moved but the hotel was...

Oh dear ! I cannot believe that a hotel calling itself the Village has an electronic checking in system that actually doesn't work that well ! At the end of a long day a good hotel welcomes you , the receptionists talk to you , ... but not here
