We arrived late due to the holiday weekend traffic, but were warmly greeted and it made the stay get off on the right foot. We were going to be busy all weekend at the Hay festival, but with a wonderful cooked breakfast to get us started , it really helped the long days out on our feet. I would definitely...

We stayed at the Belvedere this week-end, and we had an amazing time. The welcoming was warm, the room was nice and clean, and the breakfast was brilliant. We also were provided good advices as to where to eat and have a beer in the evening. Definitly a no brainer if you wish to stay in this area for a...

Ahead of our trip to Wales, we booked a room in this lovely B&B in Talybont-on-Usk in the Brecons. Only a 10 minute drive away from the town of Brecon it was very well located to explore the area. We stayed in Room 1, which was cleaned to a very high standard and there was ample space and storage for...

The Belvedere is located in a convenient location to reach numerous great sites in the Brecon Beacons. Better than the location is the warm hospitality that Pat and her husband offer there. They make it a most enjoyable experience and do make it feel like you are in your own home. Her breakfasts are excellent as well. There are several...

Pat Price runs the Belvedere, a modern, clean B &B in Talybont on Usk. Talybont is just outside Brecon and is an excellent centre for exploring the Brecon Beacons. Talybont on Usk may be a small village but it has four pubs, all different and all thriving, the Montgomery and Brecon Canal, a shop and a cafe. The Belvedere has...

We stayed here for a couple of nights, in Room 2. The room was lovely, and although the en-suite was quite compact everything worked perfectly and it was equipped with lovely fresh towels. The whole place was spotless, and Pat was the perfect hostess - friendly and genuinely interested in her guests without being too forward. Breakfast was simple but...

We recently stayed at the Belvedere as we had a wedding in the area. It was absolutely perfect in terms of location, extremely reasonably priced, very clean with fantastic breakfast and brown bag lunched! Pat was extremely friendly and helpful through the booking process and really made our weekend away even more amazing by suggesting a great stop on our...

We stayed at the very clean, comfortable and welcoming Belvedare for the Brecon Ultra 40mile race in May. We were very specific about breakfast for the race morning but nothing was too much trouble for Pat. The bathrooms were spotless with no shortage of hot water for a nice long and needed shower. For the following day we had a...

“Room 1 was of a good size and quality.”

“The single and the twin rooms were both lovely, even though the single was the smallest, there was still enough room for a double bed and it was still comfortable and cosy. The twin was slightly bigger and equally as comfortable, both were extremely clean and homely.”

“Room 1 is the biggest, followed by 2. The other 2 are a little "cosier' particularly the smallest - but with a price to match.”
of 5 bubbles WanderingIslander, 11 Feb 2013 | Read review
“All rooms are very nice and extremely clean with hairdryers available (I did not know so brought my own), coffee/tea making available in-room and TVs. Also, WIFI is available, which in the area is a really nice touch. From the three rooms that I was able to see - room 3 has a larger bed (kingsize I think) then others (standard double). Room 1 has a larger bathroom then the others. Room 2 is still very comfortable, just not a large bathroom or bed.”
