We are a couple from Australia and stayed for two nights at Draen. Sue, our host was very friendly and helpful. Tea in the garden on arrival and a lovely room. Breakfast excellent with duck eggs! Located at the end of a country lane right among the farming. Excellent base (with car) for the Brecons. Recommend the nearby popular and...

Located at the very end of a narrow country lane, The Draen offers the perfect recluse set deep inside the Welsh country side. Quiet and peaceful we could not have wished for a better location. The breakfast was also fantastic, with all ingredients sourced from local farms. You'll be hard pushed to taste a better rasher of bacon, sausage or...

This B&B is a gem. Set in the countryside, the atmosphere is quiet. The dogs were very much welcome. Great breakfast too! The room was spacious, clean with a nice bathroom. Sue and Johnny, the proprietors were friendly and helpful.

I booked the Draen following a search of local places to stay, as we were travelling from Yorkshire to attend a wedding. We did have a slight problem finding the property, as it is at the end of a narrow lane, and it was dark when we arrived. We were warmly welcomed and offered a drink and cake, however, we...

The Draen is tucked away up a narrow country lane in Llanfilo, 6 miles or so from Brecon. On the edge of the Beacons, it is in a superb location, tranquil and with easy access for walking and sightseeing in the area. It is easy to find, because the owners have thoughtfully signposted the B&B once you reach the church...

If getting away from the madding crowd is your scene, then this is it! Tucked down the end of a narrow country lane, with no through traffic, only rolling hills, sheep and a couple of horses in the vicinity - this is my idea of a getaway. Then of course the lovely bedrooms and bathrooms (we had the Rose Suite...

Had a lovely couple of nights here - possible the best breakfast ever - superb local produce for the full English (or should that be Welsh), and excellent service. Room was charming and very comfortable. Sitting room with lots of books, cd's and wood burner for colder days - intend to return.

Our hosts made us feel very comfortable. Our room was very clean with a nice bathroom and a comfortable bed. The breakfast is made to you requirements and is just awesome. The views are great if you are as lucky as we were and get clear sunny weather. You'll need your own transport to stay in Llanfilo. Note that this...

The Draen walks a really nice line of welcoming hospitality and privacy. Our room had a private living room with it. The owner was very helpful with local recommendations. We bought wine and sat out in the garden listening to the sheep and birds. Really lovely and a nice change from a town centre hotel/bnb. When it got chilly the...
