On the plus side it was clean, with a comfortable bed and adequate heating. TV and wi-fi were fine. However, I was greeted by a curt request for payment and no pleasantries. The top floor room (not ensuite) was furnished with basic min - not even a chair, widow would not open and it was noisy due to nearby doors... More

We stayed one night and it was really pleasant. The room was clean and well decorated. Staff were pleasant and polite. Would stay here again if I'm down that way. Close to town centre with a supermarket across the carpark. Private parking and lots of space too.

Its what it says on the box! Not the best of hotels, but its what you pay for!! A good night in the bar with friends after a long day on the Beacons. A great curry and good beer. A resonable nights sleep, although abit noisy and up early in the morning for an unexpected excellent Full breakfast. Enough to... More

Visited another venue but having found they didn't cook on a Wednesday, we found Markets Tavern, and very pleased that we did. Lovely garlic bread, scampi cooked just right and the tender rump steak was one of the best that my husband had tasted. So if you want a decent, (not huge ) but well cooked meal, all at a... More

4 of us went here 1 had the gammon which didn't look great . But 2 of us had curry dishes which we enjoyed . The herbed diced potatoes were lovely and the other person had a salad which he enjoyed . Overall nice surrounding with decent grub and resonable prices.

We all had a curry, but 3 different ones, all were good and reasonable priced, a drink was also in lncluded in the meal price. We will defiantly go there again. There were tables outside, which would be good in fine weather.

Spotlessly clean, very comfortable beds and great value for money. Nice little touches like tea & coffee facilities and White Company toiletries. The hotel/pub itself could probably do... More
