We popped into the Wynnstay on Saturday afternoon after watching the musician performing outside with various Family members. We found seats & settled in for a couple of drinks & a snack in the lovely warm bar area.Everywhere was spotlessly clean & tidy and the staff were pleasant & polite. We ordered a variety of sharing platters & starters to...

We have been here before as we like the interior and often eat in Marston pubs and ordered the steak pie and gammon. Whoever is in the kitchen could do with some training in presentation and " cooking". The steak pie came without the peas and looked as if it had been plated by a stressed out dinner lady; the...

Even though the Hotel was having a refurb all of the staff we met could not have been more helpful . Firstly the Manager Jean Roberts had answered an email enquiry promptly and fully allaying the slight fears we had before our visit . We were then given an upgrade . On arrival the member of staff dealt with us...

Not a bad place and value for money 3 course meal and a drink for under £8 cant complain. Good service, pleasant, quick with the food. Give it a go, you don't brake the bank for the price. Its clean tidy building.

I am actually staying as I write this it was a last minute booking but the pokey room is shocking. The bloke on reception looked really peeved off that we had the audacity to check in and interrupt his day. No word of what time breakfast was. Just handed the key over. I should have paid the extra £20!and stayed...

A very angry tall man with a huge chip on his shoulder met us. He was very unhelpful and grunted answers at us when we asked questions. Think he should not be front of house. More in the kitchen or cellar. Horrible stay horrible man
