What a wonderful 3 night stay we had. Came up to Wrexham for business and the stay in this B&B made the trip all the more worthwhile. Fantastic rooms, immaculately kept, great breakfast and lime marmalade jam is superb - I purchased a bottle to take home. Great host.

Lovely B&B it felt like staying in a national trust property with an amazing 4 poster bed, I stayed in the Oak Room. The host, Ian was great and he cooked a hearty breakfast with award winning marmalades.

Stayed here recently for a couple of nights. From the moment you walk in you want to know about the house and its' history. It has lots of interesting furniture and panelled walls as well as an amazing fireplace in the Lounge. Our room was large and very comfortable. On top of this our host Ian was most obliging and...

I saw that another reviewer struggled to find anything bad to say about Worthenbury - so as I stayed there last night with my wife I thought I'd rise to the challenge and see what I really thought of it myself. I must start by saying how different it is from either a modern chain of hotels (organised tidiness with...

This place was great: Jacobean and Georgian bedrooms with antique furniture, beautiful careful decorations. Extremely clean, The host was very friendly, willing to chat and provide extra jars of milk for the night. Breakfast was opulent: selection of cereals, fruit and cooked breakfast very well cooked, big portions. Very quiet and a great base for North Wales. We'll definitely come...

Stayed last weekend at Worthenbury Manor, while in the area for my daughter`s wedding. I would like to be able to say something negative about my stay - just to be different from all the previous reviews - but I can`t! Wonderful manor house, 4-poster bed, lovely room, a bathroom bigger than my 2nd bedroom at home - and that`s...

I am reluctant in many ways - all selfish - to write a review on Worthenbury Manor. This is a true "hidden gem" with lovely ambience, genuine welcome, beautiful accommodation and great breakfast. Having looked at other reviews, I can but only echo and endorse every good point made. We will be back!!

The hosting couple could not have been more accommodating. They really went the extra mile in every aspect with a truly excellent breakfast, great recommendations for the local area, and little touches such as putting out fresh milk outside the room for our tea every morning. The room itself was beautiful and, as is the whole manor, full of character....

Just had 2 nights with my kids at Worthenbury Manor. We took both room so had the place to ourselves. Great host, great place, great breakfast. wonderful views with what looked like a really nice garden as well, although we didn't get out to view it properly. If you are in the area it would silly not to stay here!
