Picked this after seeing other positive reviews and we were not disappointed. It is the most charming, friendly and comfortable place in a wonderfully peaceful location. Lots of little details made our stay especially nice - the owners, the interesting furniture and decorations, the homemade biscuits in the room, the thick towels, the fabulous breakfasts and the view of the...

Stayed 2 nights with a plan to walk Snowdon. The owners were really friendly and helpful and suggested an alternative route to the one we had planned. This turned out to be a much better path. Breakfast was good and you can also buy a reasonably priced packed lunch which was really good. The room that we had (room 1)...

This small B and B is located at the foot of Snowdon and also the Nantlle Ridge. The hosts were charming and welcoming and, whilst small, the rooms are well-equipped with interesting artefacts from the owners`travels. There were nice touches such as adaptor plugs for overseas guests and the facility to dry one`s boots. Breakfast is served in the tea-room and...

This is a perfect establishment to enjoy a cream tea at the end of a long day walking. It is a very charming, cosy and friendly place to recuperate and enjoy some guilt-free homemade cakes. In fact, you should treat yourself to an afternoon tea and cake here as part of your trip, whether or not you have been scaling...

We've had a great weekend at Ty Mawr thanks to Emma and Menno's hospitality. Not only have we been spoilt for choice in terms of homemade food, but also been advised on bus & train timetables when needed. We're already looking forward to our next stay! Alex & George, Coventry

This place is a little tea-room with a potpourri of furniture and souvenirs from around the world, that make it very individual. Here you can have homemade cakes, scones and pancakes. In the first floor of the small house are three rooms, one ensuite, the other two small rooms share one bathroom. It's not luxury but homelike, clean and gemuetlich....

We stayed here the end of March - booked for a friday and saturday night quite short notice. Arrived late on the Friday - MUCH late in the night than planned - but nothing was too much trouble for Emma and Menno. We were treated to great breakfasts, comfy rooms, great hospitality and lots of walking advice for our hike...
