My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights in July. We were given a warm welcome after a long drive and grotty weather. Check in was quick and easy. We booked a riverside room and all I can say is Wow! The view was exceptional and the location really gives the hotel the feel of that something special. It's...

We have just returned from a week's stay at Craig-y-Dderwen, our second visit this year. The weather was beautiful and the hotel was excellent as usual. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and comfortable room, wonderful food and the service could not be faulted. My wife and I are both disabled and the staff were only too ready to help...

The hotel is located about 150 yards off the main road, right next to the river. It is a beautiful location and yet the centre of Betws is only a ten minute easy walk away. We paid extra for a river view room, which was huge, with a balcony that overlooked the river. It is also great to have breakfast...

Stayed for 2 nights as a break from house moving! Check in was easy and our room was ready early. We had room 1 which is accessed round the side of the hotel and you have your own front door. Fab room with a massive bed!! Spotlessly clean, everything you could need (good welcome tray, TV, hairdryer, toiletries etc) has...

Although I arrived in torrential rain, I was immediately struck but the beauty of the location next to the Conwy river at Betws-y-Coed. I stayed one night and eat in the hotel restaurant. The food was good and the wine selection adequate. Service was excellent throughout. My only two gripes were the quality of decor throughout, which is showing its...

We have just returned from a short break at this wonderful Hotel set in a beautiful location. Staff very friendly and the quality of the food was exceptional. Our room was very spacious with stunning views of the river and we had the added bonus of a hot tub which was used daily. We felt that we had found our...

coming from New Zealand for a wedding yesterday we felt that both the hotel and area surrounding truly showcased North Wales. The staff couldn't do enough on arrival for us as wedding guests to ensure we could get into our room early, and even arranged a substitute for breakfast (a packed lunch each in a bag), as we had to...

Really enjoyed our stay here. Staff were very friendly. The food was excellent. We had room service for our evening meal and breakfast and both were excellent. The hotl is in a beautiful quiet setting but not far from the shops in Betws y coed. The room was spacious and very clean. Would recommend this hotel and we will definitely...

Stayed at the Craig-y-Dderwen for a last minute, long week-end. A pleasant week-end, a beautiful location, friendly staff, but the quality of accommodation just didn't justify the price. We paid £160 per night for a second floor super king with river view. First of all, avoid being allocated a room on the second floor - it's a long walk up!...

We stayed here for our anniversary weekend April 2015. The views were amazing, the service was exceptional and the hot tub was pure luxury, used morning noon and night. The meals and wine we thought were reasonably priced and of a very high standard. Anglesy eggs, wild garlic & onion soup and the 'unusual' beef wellington are dishes that I...
