The hotel is just outside the village of Betws y coed but within a very short walk and makes it a very peaceful place. The real advantage of the location however is the riverside views of the Conwy Valley. Stunning and not to be missed so make sure you ask for a river view when booking. The service was excellent...

Stayed here for two days for a business meeting. Very traditional private house style hotel, in the most stunning location next to the river. Rooms are large and well appointed with plenty of facilities. Wifi is free throughout the hotel. The food was excellent with an open kitchen. Staff were just lovely!! Will go back with my family.

We picked this place admittedly during July school holidays and as a long overdue night away without our kids. We paid 160 GBP which was as much as we would pay for a 5 star hotel in Sydney where we live. If you are paying top whack, then you expect a certain level of comfort. This doesn't have it. The...

I had been very excited to visit Snowdonia for a weekend organised by my partner for my birthday. We set off from London at 4pm with the hotel's stipulation that we had to be there at 11pm in mind. We unfortunately hit horrendous traffic leaving London and I gave the hotel a courtesy call at 10pm to say we might...

We booked a weekend break for our 40th wedding anniversary. We had room number 3 with a huge balcony and wonderful views. It was next to room 2 with the hot tub, but you can see over the balcony so I don't think it was very private as someone else suggested. The room was nice, kings sized bed with a...

Visited this hotel for some peace, tranquility and quiet and I got it! The location is beautiful, overlooking the River Conwy, with pretty grounds. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of Betws-y-coed but still within 5 minutes walk. The staff - especially Angharad, Michelle and Odette looked after we really well and I would recommend this place...

This was our second visit, the hot tub room that we booked the last time wasn't available, we stayed in the room above (wouldn't recommend unless you want a late night). The room had all that we needed a lovely small balcony overlooking the river but it was 'tired' looking to say the least, the furniture dated and although we...

Just got back from this gorgeous hotel after a superb weekend away. We had the lovely room with balcony hot tub and four poster bed. It was stunning. The staff at this hotel are friendly and attentive, the food was the best we have had. Beautiful setting - very romantic. Couldn't have asked for a better hotel. We would highly...

We came up to Snowdon to hike but it poured with rain so we got stuck in our hotel. The hotel is super clean and comfortable and the room is big. The bed and pillows are pretty old so not that comfy, but all in all it is a nice place to stay. The food is amazing. We dined in...
