Called in here today for a quick late lunch and it was defiantly worth it 😊 very nice decor, spotlessly clean, helpful waiter and delicious food 😊 we didn't wait too long either 🍷 the hot chocolate deluxe is a must, sadly my 4 year old pinched my flake before the photo was taken. Looking forward to my next visit...

Although we did not stay at the hotel we had walked past it several times and were curious as to whether the Grill Room was open to the general public, thankfully it was. We had two fantastic meals on two separate occasions, wonderful welsh meat, lamb and steak and very generous portions. The local staff were particularly friendly and helpful...

My wife and I stayed in the Royal Oak on a Saturday night. We arrived at our room mid afternoon. Very comfortable, clean. The bathroom was a nice size and again very clean. Having had a long day we decided to watch TV and chill out then the band started playing at 9 p.m. Our room was directly above them....

Stayed for a couple of nights while on business. Room was small but had the basics that you need and was clean etc. Smelt very fresh upon arrival, later on found that that was masking a pretty smelly sink drain. Mentioned it but didn't make a big fuss as was hardly there. Great little hotel bar serving good beer and...

Often go here for lunch when on a day out to Bettws y Coed. The set menu 2 courses for £11.95 is truly fantastic. The quality and presentation is amazing. I had pheasant salad for a starter which was beautiful followed by sea trout on a bed of clam risotto. This is no ordinary food , it is top notch....

Came away for a last minuet break and not disappointed. The room we stayed in was at the front and over looked the river. Fantastic view. The room itself was lovely and warm and very spacious . The staff couldn't do enough for you and very friendly and helpful. The food in the Grill Bar was delicious. Breakfast had everything...

We stayed here on a walkers break in January. It was a lovely hotel and the staff were very welcoming. We stayed in a superior twin room. This was furnished nicely with comfortable armchairs and a good sized dressing table. There was a hairdryer and a huge TV over the fireplace. There were a few issues with the bathroom, it...

An historic coaching inn that has made the transition to modern needs. The hotel is very well situated in the centre of town. It has car parking and is warm and comfortable. Our room was spacious, with easy chairs and the bathroom was modern and spotless. There is a comfortable and welcoming entrance area where coffees and light bites are...

When we booked this hotel, we expected a basic room in the main hotel as we booked 'The Royal Oak Hotel' which as you would expect.. a basic room in that hotel. Upon arrival we went to the reception desk at the main hotel, which the receptionist was very happy to help and very friendly. Then we were told directions...

Fantastic place to watch live sport, two big crystal clear tvs with great reception. Will be making regular appearances now! Food is home made and very good value- place is clearly set up to take a lot of money in the summer!
