We stayed at the park hill over July, for a couple of nights. The owners were lovely as were the staff. Good choice of breakfast, although bacon over cooked. Our room smelt of damp as soon as we entered. Damp patches all over the walls. The room was exceptionally clean and tea/coffee were provided each day with clean cups. There is...

Stayed here over a weekend. Great views, Our room was medium sized at the top of the hotel, As soon as we entered the room it smelt of damp, we had to open the windows straightaway, the damp patches are clearly visible, we noticed a de-humidifier in the room which was half full of the water. Which was not good...

During this very wet winter the Park Hill suffered from a couple of leaks near the chimneys, as well as in the conservatory [see our facebook page for pics of the actual repairs and scaffolding, as well as of the replacing of the conservatory's roof]. All this meant also that we had to repaint or even completely redecorate the top...

Late review, have been extremely busy since our visit. However I always make time for a review and photos as they are what I find most helpful. Rooms were clean, but extremely DATED (1980's) carpet & wall paper! Bedding had faded but clean. Mattress was uncomfortable. Yellow stain on the "clean" towels and bed sheet. Breakfast was ok, small portion....

I rececently stayed here, as a group of 10 on a walking trip, staying 4 nights. I had a top floor double room at the front of the building. My heart melted as soon as I opened the window and saw the wonderful view. The room was comfortable, the bed cosy, ample hot water and an endless supply of tea,...

My husband and I stayed for 3 nights at the Park Hill and cannot fault the hospitality of Ghislaine and Jaap. They are lovely hosts who cannot do enough to make you feel welcome. In addition to this, the stunning views from our room and beautiful walk into the town, made our stay very special. Ghislaine, thank you once again...

Looking for a place with a pool can be a daunting experience. Mostly, you find hotels charging prices which bring tears to the eyes! Imagine our surprise to find a small establishment which boasted a pool and whose prices seemed very reasonable. We booked by telephone, partly to weigh up the owners (it's ALWAYS nice and advisable to do this...

We booked one night at this hotel as we were visiting Snowdonia National Park (lovely area) but our experience at the hotel was not one of the best one. From our view this hotel should be 1 star hotel as the bed linen was dirty, the bathroom wasn't that clean, very cold inside, and the breakfast was served with uncooked...

We are sorry that your expectations were not met by your experience at the Park Hill. By the way: The Park Hill is a four star guest house, not a hotel. If linen is not clean or anything is dirty, I would complain immediately. Firstly, it doesn't make sense to complain afterwards anonymously. If something is wrong, we will do...

Situated just a mile or so out of Betsws-y-coed its great for touring the area and the town itself. There is a path across the fields you can use as a shortcut to walk right into the town which we used alot to save taking the car. The guest house is really friendly and cosy nothing to much trouble, there...

I've stayed here several times before and this time I was equally impressed. I had a lovely two night stay, as some of the other reviews say it is like a home from home. Some changes since my last visit, there is now a fridge on the top floor to chill drinks, it also contains fresh milk to use alongside...
