My boyfriends and I were looking for reasonably priced accommodation in the area so we could have a mountain biking weekend and we found this pub advertising bunkhouse accommodation. We hired a bunk room and we were lucky enough to get a 4 bunk room just for the two of us The pub is situated in the village of penmachno...

We stayed at the Eagles for two nights, Thursday and Friday mid April. The accommodation itself is great, cosy rooms, which were simple but had comfy beds and tea making facilities and a heater, some also had a sink. The kitchen was quite small but well equipped with a great honesty system for use of milk and toast for breakfast....

Gemma Thank you for the positive comments you have made about your stay. I would like to apologise for the lateness of the noise from the bar which disturbed your sleep and would like to say it is not a regular occurrence and will not be happening again. Regarding the chap with the blood all over him he didn't have...

Nothing fancy, no frills, but exactly what a group of lads after a long day walking Snowdon needed. About 25 mins from Snowdon, basic but comfy, clean rooms. Friendly staff and the Gammon and Egg was superb for the price! What a bargain!

Just stayed 3 nights with a group of 15 biking mates. Accommodation, food and facilities all good and even coped with us all returning soaking wet on several occasions. Drying room and lock up bike store very handy. Gary did a group meal one night as well as a group breakfast another morning - both were very tasty and great...

The owner who showed us to our room was very friendly and provided us with a booklet...

Where do you go if you want to ride North Wales Trails on your mountain bike, with your mates, for a weekend? You go to the best bunkhouse! Gary & Keith gave us all a very warm welcome to The Eagles, even in a wet Wales in March! 4 of us in a 4 bunk room costing a very reasonable...

Despite the name "bunkhouse" which put us off initially, my daughter and I were pleasantly surprised to be given a warm room to ourselves with two single beds. We were attracted by the lovely location and the price. The hotel is well looked after and spotlessly clean. We loved the communal kitchen/dining room which was stocked with fresh produce for...

Went as part of a group and we all really enjoyed our stay at the Eagles. The pub itself is great fun and it is clear that it is very popular with the local community, especially at the weekends. The facilities are well described and having a dedicated kitchen for guests was great so that we could make our own...

Clean and tidy with good shared bathroom / kitchen, good for a country setting and local walking. Be sure to try to book wednesday-Sunday as the bar isn't open on Monday and Tuesday and there is nothing else in this town and you will have to drive 10min for food / drinks
