Traveling in the off season, my wife and I had booked Sygun Fawr for two nights a few days prior to arrival....WHAT a SPECIAL PLACE WE FOUND!! Outside of the beautiful Snowdonia village of Beddgelert at the top of a one vehicle country lane you will find Saygun Fawr a beautiful country inn with 10+ rooms and a view of...

After a two week trip through north Wales, the Lake Districtand Yorkshire Dales and Edinburgh I can safely say this is the one place we would love to revisit. It's a beautiful B and B set in the most lovely place near to the village of Beddgelert. We walked down a lovely path to the village several times. Our room...

If you are looking for the perfect country lodge or place to stay in Snowdonia, North Wales, this is it. Quiet, friendly, quaint but spacious rooms with stunning views, superb food and personal service. Stayed here for 2 nights with British friends as part of a 3 week tour of the U.K. We all agreed this was by far the...

My fiancée and I stayed here for 3 nights in a superior double room, which to our surprise and delight not only meant a private bathroom but a patio terrace in the case of our room! Not that we got to use it as the weather was solidly wet apart from a small reprieve on the afternoon of the middle...

We stayed here for 1 night after an overly strenuous day of hiking Mt Snowdon via Crib Goch. The woman who greeted us was kind and helpful, and check-in was a breeze. The room was nice and large, with a nice bathroom. However, there was no TV, and the internet was not usable in our room (room 1), so bring...

Me and my boyfriend decided we wanted to visit snowdonia and randomly booked a place the stay the night before we left! We hadn't read any reviews and just booked up! Much to our delight it was in the middle of nowhere - in the mountains of the national park, only a short 15 min walk to the nearest village,...

Have now returned home after a truly wonderful and extremely comfortable stay at this delightful country house. I am not sure what planet Duet is on (recent review) but whoever he/she is needs to clearly "get a life". Please ignore that review as it is nonsense. Yes, it is a steep drive to the house but you "deal with it"....

Breakfast was also great. The service was perfect ! It is a great location if you want to visit Castles in...

Ruth is also a wonderful cook. Our children also enjoy her food but also the animals, Rocco the dog walked with my...
