We are a family of four (two teenagers) and all enjoyed a wonderful long weekend in this comfortable hotel, perfectly located for beautiful walks from the front door. We were all appreciative of the exceptionally friendly and welcoming hospitality from the host, Ruth, for whom nothing was too much trouble. Comfortable beds, quality home cooked food, including packed lunches, and...

We stayed in Sygun Fawr for the second time after a gap of some 12 years. We don't need to stay in North Wales very often but we had a good experience the first time and had no hesitation is booking again. We were not disappointed although we might have chosen a better time of year to enjoy the view....

This hotel is fantastic for a romantic hideaway. For a start, it's location assures that you will certainly feel 'away from it all'. It is nowhere near the touristy bits but close enough that they are a short drive away. Ah... the drive... yes it's narrow but just demands care, respect and consideration. There's some beautiful scenery right by the...

Ruth and Owen were really well informed about the local history and really helpful at advising us were to go. The food was wonderful too and the atmosphere was cosy and welcoming. Fantastic stay. Great location, fantastic comfortable room and delicious food. We really enjoyed our stay here and look forward to visit again in the future. The road leading to the property is rather tight but worth it for the nice quiet location. I loved my stay in north Wales and the b&b was a fantastic choice. I will return again.

We only stayed one night, but it was a lovely break. Nicely decorated room with a wonderful view towards Snowdon. Probably the best veggie cooked breakfast I've ever had. The only drawback is the steep narrow track leading to the house, but fortunately we didnt encounter any cars as we drove along it. The house is a good 10 minute...

We've stayed here many times over 10 years and the excellent food and warm welcome never vary. Ruth is a goldmine of local knowledge (very welcome if you're struggling to pronounce place names!) and the welsh produce used in the restaurant is always high quality. The views of the surrounding valley are glorious.

We stayed here for one night and, as newbies to Snowdonia, we couldn't have picked a nicer place to stay. Beddgelert is a stunning village and only a 10 minute walk away from the hotel. All staff were fab, helpful without being intrusive. We stayed in a standard, double room which was perfect, very comfortable bed, good shower/bathroom and a...
