Stayed here for 1 night with my son, and wasn't disappointed. The guesthouse was spotless, and we were gave a very warm welcome from the owners. The bedroom was decorated to a high standard and the en-suite bathroom was well equipped and again spotless. I was in room 2 and I had great view of the Llangollen hills from the... More

Just up the hill from the centre of Llangollen, this was absolutely perfect for a weekend break for us. Very reasonably priced, welcoming and homely. We stayed on the ground floor of the guesthouse, which was great as we were coming in late, and even when breakfasts commenced not really that intrusive. The owners are very friendly, as are the... Well what can I say! What a lovely review and thank you for this. You are welcome back any time and I will have a word with the dogs. You were right she wanted her breakfast as soon as she wakes up (a demanding 15 year old lady) but once fed she goes off for a sleep and leaves us... More

An excellent B&B a few minutes from the centre of Llangollen with very friendly and well informed staff, good food at breakfast, clean room, comfortable bed and all round good experience and off-street parking about 70 yards from the front door. No hesitation in recommending this premises to others.

Thank you for your review. All bedrooms at the moment have Laura Ashley paper. The lounge, hall and dining room were decorated in keeping with the victorian building by previous owners and too good a quality to just remove but something that we will do eventually and modernise. Most times our guests feel it is in keeping as well. I will... More

I stayed here whilst walking the Offa's Dyke path. It was the furthest side of Llangollen from the path but this didn't really matter and Dave gave me a lift back to the path in the morning. This place certainly has character! Not the wallpaper I'd pick for my house but oh well :D There were a lot of dogs... More

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed your stay. We did have a few dogs that weekend due to the amount of walkers who came. Our Wallpaper in most of the bedrooms at the moment is from Laura Ashley and hope most people find it okay. You are most welcome back anytime. More

Apologies for the sense of humour greeting and I will certainly be having words with the person concerned if this meant downgrading your response. We do advertise as pet friendly and try to live up to this unlike a lot of other establishments but do not want to be pigeon holed. We are not breaking any health and safety rules... More
