The height of the summer, early August and it's hard to find a decent eatery in Llangollen. The Corn exchange was fully booked. We have eaten there before and that would have been the best option. However, after looking at several other restaurants/pubs we ended up at the Bridge end. Sticky tables, old fashioned decor, service reasonable, but not very...

Nice rooms, poor staff beer and food over priced. Beer suitable for putting out a fire. Nice tables and chair to have a drink and a smoke weather permitting on the roadside at the front. Nice seating areas inside. Has potential. Shame about the rest.

Just returned after two nights in this hotel. Checking in staff very polite & helpful. Parked the car in the very small carpark behind hotel. Staff took us up to our room (number6) first impression we thought it looked very tired and drab. We decided to have our evening meal in the restaurant as we had heard the food was...

Adequate for a quick lunch time snack, didn't try any other meals so can't comment but sandwiches with a bowl of chips was good. An added attraction was to watch some of the 1st test match versus Pakistan with a pint in the bar.

We had travelled to Llangollen by boat and we met up with two friends who had booked bed and breakfast at this pub. We joined them for a drink in the afternoon and then discovered that we could not eat there as they did not serve food on Tuesday and Wednesdays. We never found out why this was. However our...

We sat and waited for someone to come with menus, then discovered they should have given us on on the way in, but were too busy chatting! We took the menu chose our meals and then had to...

It's the first time we have stopped here (Pub hotel) & we wasn't disappointed, had a room at the front, no problem with any noise, nice view of the river Dee. Our en - suite room was nice and clean. Had a meal here in the evening and it was delicious. Hubby said that it was the best Ribeye steak...

We were on a day trip to Llangollen and stopped at the Bridge Hotel for a meal. It was piping hot and delicious. I had lamb and leek casserole and hubby had beef in red wine - beautiful! We would definitely recommend this hotel for a stop-off meal.
