From the moment we spoke with the reception to book our stay, we were confident of a very nice stay. Immediately upon our arrival, we were greeted with a warmth, so evidently lacking with the big chain Hotels. The check in process was very friendly and swift. Our dinner reservations were also confirmed on our reservation. We were shown to...

Thank you so much for a lovely review. I'm so pleased we were able to look after you and your family and that you had a good break. Will and I discussed what might work best for your son and Will obviously did a good job. He has just been promoted to Joint Assistant Manager in recognition of the hard...

Excellent food at a reasonable price. Not your average pub grub. One of the best meals I have had anywhere in classy surroundings. BEWARE of the entrance to the car park under the arch if you have a large car as it is narrow

Thanks for the great review. Sorry about the car park entrance! We're an old coaching inn and they used to get a 'coach and six' through there!! For those of a nervous disposition, there is a front car park option!

Great hotel, rather quaint and in a boutique style. I didn't eat dinner here but the breakfast was fantastic, the staff were second to none and so helpful. I was in Conwy for business but would most certainly recommend this hotel for a getaway. The room was clean and very comfortable, one very minor complaint was that the extractor fan...

Thank you for taking the time to review. Yes, Conwy and this part of North Wales is great for a little break away - lots of things to do and see. Thank you for mentioning the great local team we work with - they are a credit to their profession and us. Sorry about the fan - bane of my...

Good staff are the key to any business. At Castle Hotel they were all friendly and helpful. Good clean room and good food. Also we noted a very high percentage of gluten free meals on the menu which is to commended (a member of our family has coeliac disease).

If you are looking for a weekend away which combines quality and comfort with excellent value for money then consider the Castle Hotel in Conwy. Conwy itself is a little gem. It's packaged neatly in amazingly preserved medieval walls and is dominated by a huge castle. Right on the coast and with interesting individual shops and a choice of coffee...

Thank you for your very positive and very comprehensive review. I'm so pleased you enjoyed yourselves in our old inn and the town and surroundings. You certainly packed a lot in during your 3 days! Yes - our menus are seasonal, so we'll be changing again in March for the spring - but unfortunately no mussels then as they're only...

Lovely hotel rooms and good excellent but it is the staff that make it superb. They truly go the extra mile nothing is too much trouble. Even the stress of parking is taken out of your hands if needed.

Thank you for your great review. We are very much a 'locals' place, as well as looking after visitors to North Wales and as a consequence there's a great atmosphere downstairs, especially in the bars. As you mention, we are a busy place, serving lots of meals, so consistency of quality is hugely important - thank you for letting me...

We had a weekend in Conwy The hotel was full of character. Our room was comfortable and warm. The breakfast was full of choices even a bucks fizz if we wanted it!! Mostly the staff were most helpful and nothing was any trouble. Very welcoming family feeling. We hope to be back.😀

Thank you for your very positive review. We really work hard at the gluten free elements of our menus as so many people seem to suffer GF intollerance or worse - including the flour and beer we make our batter with!
