Stayed just one night, in the purple room - a large room with amazing view over the beach. We parked with no problem right outside hotel (it was however February!). Really enjoyed our meal that evening and breakfast the next day was excellent. All the staff we spoke to were

Stayed at the hotel for one night having not stayed there before. We had a warm Welsh welcome at the reception and were shown to our room. The rooms are all different colours and ours was brown. The room was excellent with attention to detail perfect. We had booked a table at

Now I know that the Gwesty Cymru website does quite clearly state (about the red room) that "this room is above the kitchen". What the website doesn't tell you is quite how thin the floors, walls and ceilings are. It appears that most doors within earshot of our room were opened

Great room and great location. Definitely stay here again. Had room with sea view right on the front. Even though the weather wasn't great the view was. Short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Room clean, warm and spacious. Very comfortable bed plus Jacuzzi bath.

Weekend away nearby and partner searched out this gem of a hotel restaurant for lunch . A lovely intimate dining area in the basement of the hotel . Menu offered a varied menu in Welsh and English . We went for the light lunch option of fish cakes and breakfast scotch egg with

Parking recommendation.
Well that is a difficult one. First of all find the hotel and do a bag drop. The road outside the hotel has a yellow line (no parking) so there is always a place to stop and unload I'm sure you will be fine to do this as I think you get 5 mins on a yellow line for unloading. To the left of the pier (left as you look out to sea) there are no restrictions to how long you can park along the stretch of road in front of the old university building and the castle ruin ( about a mile stretch of road) but everyone else will be trying there too so it might be full. We managed to get about the last space going right at the end of this stretch of road, it was a 20 min walk back! BUT the hotel is worth the walk. There must be car parks somewhere in town but as we got a space on the road we didn't need to find a car park. The hotel will know where these are. Might be best to give them a call and find out where they are before you get there.....they really should advise people before thy go. ...we have a guest house in Llandudno and send our guests a parking map before they arrive and tell them about our bag drop service...😀😀 If you are visiting Llandudno too on your trip do look us up.. The View Guest House😊 Cheers Claire
