Stayed at the Four Seasons before and it has never been great - so, really, it was my own fault for booking here again. Rest assured this is the last time I will ever stay here. I booked an executive double room for £120 for the night. The room was lovely, although faced the front of the hotel so was...

We stayed at this hotel for work. I booked in all five of my staff and also stayed over with my girlfriend and our baby. The rooms and the hotel were that good that we decided we would stay on for an addition night once our work was done and our staff went home. The breakfast was brilliant and faultless.

Stayed here 3 nights and we were underwhelmed. It was the most expensive hotel we had stayed in for many years and the room was cramped and exceptionally stuffy, the breakfast nothing special and the staff uninterested. Early morning truck with delivery of laundry was annoying at 6.30 am.We have had cheap B&Bs where staff treat guests like guests and...

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in it is like a Borstal in the dark ages If you complain you only get a load of abuse off the manager that's when you can eventually get in touch with him The hotel is a disgrace the toilet was blocked the shower tray and wash basin was full off...

Stayed in room 10 and quite the most disgusting experience. The stench of cigarettes in the room was horrible and I woke up the following morning with the taste of stale cigarettes in my mouth. Absolutely revolting. The toilets have lacerating pumps so you can hear next door's and the showers are rubbish.

Stayed here for a night in August whilst on a short break. Hotel is perfectly adequate for a stopover. The staff were very pleasant; the bed comfortable and the breakfast what you would expect for a pre-cooked buffet. If there had been a 'good' category I would have used that - but there isn't!!

We stayed here over the bank holiday weekend and can provide a genuine review which we hope will be of use to other visitors. This is a small family run hotel so don't expect all the facilities that you might be used to in a larger hotel/chain. It is based in a historic building which has been simply furnished in...

Just spent a two night break here. The double room was comfy, extremely clean with lovely white linen and towels. The tea tray was bursting full and included complimentary bottled water, I know it doesn't cost much, but it's a nice gesture. The breakfast was gorgeous and buffet style, with everything topped up regularly. The hotel was walking distance to...

Extortionate price, abysmal housekeeping and dreadful attitude. Charged £150 a night for a small stuffy attic room. 3 single beds squeezed close together, one entirely under the eaves so nil headroom, access to wardrobe blocked by beds, access to bathroom blocked by table and chairs. No floorspace to open cases. Plaster falling off walls. Windows painted shut. Found container with...
