If you are looking for somewhere for a special romantic get away, this is the place. Abbots Grange is a beautiful building, well kept and restored, with amazing rooms with four poster beds. It is ideal for those who like walking, with walks straight from the garden. Broadway, with its shops and many restaurants and cafes is only a 2...

We booked this place last minute for a romantic get away. Upon arrival, being treated by a sweeping stone driveway which takes you round to the front of a beautiful looking cotswold building, the feel of classical romance begins. We were greeted with a warm and friendly smile who showed us around this wonderful building with all its character and...

Good Morning, Thank you very much for your wonderful review. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the 'little extra's' we offer here - all the cakes are baked by 'Huffkins' - our own craft bakery (which incidentally also supplies Fortnum & Masons in London and the Royal Palaces!). The complimentary drinks - port, sherry etc in the Great Hall...

Abbots Grange is a beautiful historic building. We had the smallest room, Sargent, which was a little tight on space. The ensuite had only a shower, no bath. We encountered a few niggles, which mean I cannot give 5 out of 5. Breakfast was fine, but communal dining not really to my taste. There is no doubt that this is...

We checked into Abbots Grange for a 3 night stay before Christmas and I've been meaning to write as our stay was extraordinary. The property is beautiful, set in parkland but only a minutes walk from the village. Our room (Elizabethan Suite), complete with 4 poster bed, paneled bedroom, huge bathroom was stunning and very private. The most comfortable bed...

We planned on staying in this hotel based on positive comments by others. As the trip is still several months away we read the policy re: cancellations and deposits carefully. On the website it stated clearly " 1/2 the rate will be taken at the time of booking" . We were planning to stay for 4 nights so it was...

Good evening Thank you very much for raising your concerns. We would just like to be clear that we haven't changed our deposit policy. Unfortunately this payment was charged because a booking agent had been used. We have since been in contact with this agent and we have now amended the deposit policy to match our own. We do hope...

My wife and I had the good fortune to stay at Abbots Grange for 6 nights at the end of September. I echo all previous comments about gracious hospitality...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Nestled in the lea of Broadway hill and standing in a little over eight acres of parkland grounds and gardens you will find the romantic Cotswold hideaway, Abbots Grange. Secluded, yet only 2 minutes walk from Broadway's 'picture perfect' village high street with its delightful array of independent boutique shops, restaurants and inns. This magical, award winning monastic manor has all the comforts you would expect from an AA five gold star 'highly commended' guest house. Bedrooms are equipped to a high standard with four poster beds, flat screen TVs and seating areas. The magnificent Elizabethan Suite can be booked directly through the Abbots Grange web site. Beds in all rooms and suites are dressed with the finest Egyptian cotton sheets to ensure a blissful nights sleep. Thick, fluffy white towels, bath robes and complimentary toiletries complete the en-suite bathrooms. The oldest dwelling in Broadway, Abbots Grange was built in about 1320 as the summer manor for the Abbot of Pershore. There are over 700 years of history to absorb here, perhaps while you unwind in front of the roaring log fire over afternoon tea... or by candlelight after dinner? Breakfast at Abbots Grange is a celebration of all things local. Served in the panelled dining room at the round table, you will find a mouth watering selection of fresh berries and seasonal fruits. Local sausages and smoked bacon together with Cotswold free range eggs. We offer a delicious vegetarian full English breakfast alternative, artisan baked breads and pastries from our own bakery - Huffkins - together with freshly brewed 100% Arabica coffees and loose leaf teas. ... more   less
